How did I miss this episode

Gucci R

LMFAAAAOAOO "u know they callin ha elliot w 3 Ks now" screaming (i am black)

Elliott Tooties was the real villain of S13

I recently just rewatched the episode when Derrick asked Bob for tips on how to do “ratchet drag”. Quite frankly I found it disgusting. But I loved Bob’s response! “If you want to try MEMORABLE drag I can give you some tips.🤣

it was SO weird and uncomfortable to watch

Ante Grković

Bob is right about that untucked. Omg. At least Miss Mariah was keeping it positive.

Amanda Nguyen

Joined the Patreon to hear this LMAOOOO.

Jack

Is there any update on this? Any more tea?

Davey

so sad to hear this. damnit.

Holly O'shaughnessy

Also, how did the casting directors of drag race not catch this? I though they were going to be more thorough in their research after what happened last year. Those racist and transphobic posts were literally on Elliott's public insta for everyone to see. It's super disappointing.

Lisa

I went and watched the episode of untucked Bob was talking about. GIRL. Racist micro aggressions from Raja, transphobic comments from Shangela and Alexis Mateo. And we all remember MIMI as the villain?

the way she just turned off comments.... cmon grl....

audrey

White people know exactly what they are doing and when called out want to feign ignorance. Nah! You don’t get to keep getting passes and Google exist to stop you from looking and sounding like something you don’t want people to believe you are.

Microaggressions are a form of indirect bigotry. They tell on the person who uses them and give away that persons real thoughts and feelings. And many times that person doesn't even believe or consciously know they are a bigot. I recommend watching ContraPoints YouTube video on JK Rowling and Bigotry. It's fascinating!

Here's the thing: I am fully prone to believe that Eliott's comments and microaggressions come from a place of misunderstanding and social awkwardness and not from a place of malice. She genuinely does seem like she wants to form a sisterhood with her competitors at this point and hasn't actively done malicious things or started unnecessary drama (as far as I remember at least). That having been said, her being COMPLETELY DEAD SILENT during this whole ordeal is in DIRECT opposition to my prior statements. Like it is one thing to make the mistakes and say the wrong things. But at the end of the day, you have to OWN UP to them and be vocal about how you're going to do better, otherwise the only message that we're getting is that you're doubling down on being racist/transphobic and accepting that what is being said about you is true. Like her just turning off her comments is no different from her saying "Yeah I said it and I meant it, and what?" And at this point in time, we know how the drag race fandom loves to make a white victim, and it's truly tiring. I have no time for her at this point.

Eliott should apologize full stop for coming out here saying 'but not aggressive' about a black person on camera in front of god and everybody. I also believe Kandy and I also also believe the transphobia should be addressed.

eris laughs

Yeah its still racism and should be brought up. I think when alot of people see "microaggression" they think "less racist" when it's more referring to the subtle way it manifested, not the amount of racism, its still as racist as anything racist

Anthony St. John

Microaggressions is just a cute way of saying racism. It is a form of racism. Ugh. Thanks for talking about this.

Justinne R

Can’t believe racist apologists have found there way here to the Patreon of two black queens lol y’all not gonna last long around here but thanks for supporting

So Elliott is worthy of a chance for growth but not Kandy? When Kandy has apologized and already shown growth while Elliott hasn’t said anything? Could this be any more hypocritical! Just say you’re a Elliot with three K’s stan. Maybe you both share the same opinions on Black queens

Love you both!

Why is it always the Vegas girls lol

My favorite was her speaking on BLM while holding a Star mirror.

Luke Wallis

Didn't like Elliot from the beginning. So my gut feeling didn't let me down!

Je M

No one wants to hear white tears about it, is why.

D

I agree that things 2t's have said are problematic.. However I don't wanna hear it from Kandy who is the worst possible spokesperson for politically correct statements lol.

Redgee

I mean...I care so that’s how I’m entertained 😂, as well my circle. I don’t condone racism, I also don’t condone being an asshole. IMO Kandy is backstabby, shady, not the kind of girl I can stan. I’m not hoping on either twoTs bus or Kandys. I would hope Elliot would say something, but I’m not going to be ho calling her Elliot with three Ks, it’s unreasonably harsh and doesn’t allow for growth. Not sorry

This a is such a bad take. You really comparing a racist to Kandy who had the nerve to call her out on camera and somehow made Kandy the problem when No one else called out Elliott and they were all aware of what he was saying??? That was such a far reach.

Not to be extra shady but Elliott and her micro aggressions seems to be an easy distraction from Kandy acting a whole fool with Tamisha. I’m glad they squashed it, it doesn’t negate that Kandy gave herself the opportunity to discuss the micro aggressions with two Ts, but instead walked around it and said “read the room”. That’s not telling someone specifically what’s wrong with their behavior. Knowing better better is subjective. Tamisha on the other hand was very direct, and she couldn’t take it. It’s worse talking behind twoTs back, and now the whole fandom is doing to her exactly what happened to Kandy

Thank you gals for speaking about this! I hope Elliot comes forward and addresses the situations and apologizes ✌🏻

He does!!! Bob posts the unedited versions on his other channel "Purse First Productions!"

Gonzales

PLEASE BOB POST LONGER UK REVIEWS!!!! we would watch them if they were 1hour !!!!! <3

M JM

I think it's siblings only. I saw a posting about it here on patreon but I had to upgrade to a sibling to see the content.

Larissa

THIS IS WHAT I PAY FOR! It is cold outside. I need more tea, rumors and conjecture!!

EB

like when the other queens were talking about BLM reactions and what they thought/did elliott stayed silent the entire time and was just like 👀

Did anyone else catch the twitch stream about watching a movie over zoom today

Asha Bynum

the reunion is gonna be GOOD

Amani Chabikuli

A valentines ode for Bob. Rose's are red violets are too, I'm colour blind how about you?

Lorna Cox

I felt bad for them after opening up about depression now I feel lied to 🥴 but i live for the drama lol

i went and saw untucked from season 3 after this video and hooooooooneeeeeeyyyyyy times sure have changed... Shangie's sugar daddy ep is one thing, another episode that really goes all the way is the QNN News. i understand now why Raja is so kind and open in Fashion Photo Ruview lmao

And the editing wants us to feel sympathetic toward him and I ALMOST do but then I reboot my brain each time with this new information and tbh it's getting exhausting. Let's just hope they go home this next episode so we can move on. My heart is with the UK season anTyway.

Elias Rios

Elliot is a whole gay drag queen, and I know Texas isn't known for it's LGBTQ+ acceptance but she was still able to overcome that and live her truth. The 'small white town' reasoning doesn't work when you don't align with any of their other norms. Plus we don't know her intelligence level so those are just assumptions. She's just racist and chooses to be so. (Really am not coming for you it's just I grew up black in an all white neighborhood and this reasoning always irks me).

lindsey gueye

Definitely. It’s racist mama. People forget that racism comes on a scale. You don’t have to say the N word or kill black people to be racist toward us. She also peaked my spidey sense from day one

G

wtf was that judging last episode....

they may not have happened yet... but wouldn't be surprised if it is the producers editing it all out. i hope they expose her ass

Fitz Samuel

it’s sad but honestly not shocking, texas ... anywho but it makes a lot of sense why kandy is coming off so irritable w elliott and tbh it’s a little butt that they’re editing out the scenes that make it clear why kandy is irritated to begin w

benjamin surrette

Who else wants to know what transphobic things Elliott said? If it’s anything like Nina Bonina Brown’s ignorant statements, I wouldn’t want her near me either. #transisbeautiful #ftm #transguysunite

Aubrey Benmark

Perceiving us as aggressive is the same perceptions that get us shot later down the line because we were wearing a hoodie or something or why police are so quick to pull the trigger on us or imprison us. This is how stereotypes start only difference is a lot black stereotypes lead to black death. Elliott is definitely not on KKK level but I did want point out that his comments shouldn’t be written off as simply stupid. I get what you’re saying though

Damn shame that she thought saying it wasn’t aggressive was a compliment. She is so fucking unaware.

Ilayjah Gary

Weight up from covid and now a bitch thickenin

Anthony St. John

LOL the full receipt... I didn't even hear about all of this but in ep4 when tamisha said there was no malice when they had to vote someone off eliott responded "so why didn't you jump up" and her tone just didn't sit right with me... then she called kandy a peasant and I was like yeah somethings up with this vegas hoe... he reminds me of derrick lol

Anthony St. John

Elliot with three K is a bit much and I understand there’s a lot of people upset about the situation but I don’t think we should attack somebody and call them a KKK, when the KKK actually killed people and I don’t think that’s what Elliot is doing. Yeah he said some stupid ass shit which I totally agree is racially stupid but I don’t think we should call him something that he’s not associated with.

not the "it wasn't aggressive" 🙄

LeiLei

Bob and Monet need to do a video reacting to Lala’s new song. If y’all haven’t listened yet ur missing out. It’s called bad bitch tip

Imo saying 'micro' and 'agressions' is softening what appears to me to be blatant racism. I can't remember now what it was, but something else Elliott said tweaked my spidey senses. I don't know how to explain it...

andrea faloona

So far here's what we got: - Trying to praise symone for being non-aggressive and elegant (not like those other black girls, "you're one of the good ones" type deal). Which btw is in the same vein as those surprised "you're SO well spoken" comments we get from 'well-meaning' racist white people all the time - Calling symone’s durag look ratchet and Kandy ghetto - Putting on stereotypical “hood rat voice” but only when talking to black people - Posting about black barbies twice on instagram saying how the store can never sell them - On Elliott's recent episode of Drag Her, which they took down, she was annoyed people could spell “Ladarius Dupree Davenport O’Hara” (all names typically used by black queens) but couldn’t spell “Elliott” right. - Taking a pic of latinx teens on instagram and captioning it “why do the quinceneras always come to my mall” - We have two queens so far alluding to there being some transphobic things said on set - Deadnaming Caitlyn Jenner - And initially in her responses to the aggressive comments, she has passive aggressively suggested that she didn’t say anything wrong and people are just twisting her words. Regardless of her intent, she did say something wrong and should at least acknowledge that. She was defensive at first but let’s see if she learns the lesson this time without any passive aggressive comments to her black fans. There may be more. I'll edit if so.

You may have mistaken in for drag queen vocabulary because black gays, black trans women, and black drag queens have made up the majority of what you think as gay culture or lingo. You have to know it's roots. It's lingo for black people to use because it is our culture. Not necessarily everyone.

RPDR reddit is imploding right now because of toxic shit like this 😂

Derek Williams

Yeah some things that Elliot has said during the show has come off very problematic. And it is disheartening to see them just sit on all these things they’re being called out for without responding to it. Almost as though they don’t care. Idk if they’re just trying to play up a bitchy gay character but it isn’t working. And there really isn’t any excuse for what she has said on the show and off.

Matt

Girl, I am not surprised. The way that everyone really froze out Elliott from the jump let me know there was something else going on behind the scenes, If it was all just about E being awkward then why don't they treat Utica the same way? Eliott with three Ks is a problem especially cause she won't admit she has any problems.

Na'amen Gobert Tilahun

Every time you guys suggest Elliot's depression excuses his racism, just know it's a HUGE slap in the face to those of us black people who deal with depression and mental health issues.

I have to disagree, like with the emphasis on unconscious bias we need to stop assuming that giving people a couple education classes will prevent hate. People know how to use the internet or go to a library. In the modern age if you are ignorant or discriminatory then you must have mentally made an effort to not expose yourself to different cultures and ways of living. It not just a quick class of how to not be racist or transphobic its about learning about all the different kinds of people there are in the world through books, films, tv, podcasts and conversations. I'm not saying I'm Miss World or anyone else has to be but the level of insularity in the vast majority of lives is very high to this day.

Well said.

This behavior shouldn't be a surprise especially on a show that tells people to act more "gangster" when they mean aggressive. We still live in a time where the majority of people think of racism as "mean words" rather than deep psychological biases+history so microaggression can often slide under the rug. After seeing elliott do things like say "peasant" and telling tamisha to go home instead of her (if it was just jokingly that'd be another thing, but she was serious), I was unsettled so I agree it's important for this to be brought up

Anthony St. John

there is still no reason to bully her. if we do that we aen't much better than her.

Jonas

that's your interpretation of the barbie story tho? i thought she was like trying to showcase the reciculousness of it all and the racist character of barbie amrketing (marketing went "hmm we are pressured to bring out some black barbies so lets bring out light skinned ones and put em on sale"). now your interpretation might very well be spot on, but it's just an interpreation and you shouldnt take that interpretation as fact and spread that this way. i do think it should be addressed and i would like to know her answer as to what this was supposed to mean (and apologize if you're right)

Jonas

Idk, as soon as I saw Kandys video about Elliots micro aggressions, the whole episode made more sense, what Kandy was saying made sense. They edited, to make Kandy look more dramatic and that’s another part of the problem.

She’s totally not tho.

Thank you!!! Took the words right out of my mouth

This situation is a little bizarre because I know people from the cast had issues with Elliott but when does this give the world a pass to pile on Elliott every single day now? This has been going on for weeks now and this response is going overboard. And “she has not addressed it/apologized to my liking” does not warrant anyone to call him “Elliott with 3 Ks” and pretend that is not bullying. People wanna hide behind being noble and “standing up” for a situation they don’t know about just to fuck with Elliott. It’s like sanctioned bullying for a lot of people. It’s fucked up and makes a lot of these Twitter warrior types massive hypocrites.

Dassaasino

Clinical depression does not excuse racism or stop someone from upholding white supremacy with micro aggressions and ignorant behavior. Both can be true at the same time. I hope Elliott can add all of that to the list of topics she covers in therapy. When you know better, you do better. Boop!

GIRL last nights ep was... soemthing. I’m so happy for kandy and symone to be in the top and I’m NOT saying they didn’t deserve it, but I was so gagged when rose and Denali weren’t in the top. They stole the show for me. Also Elliot kind of turned that lip sync?!? Was so sad to see lala go it would’ve been so nice for all this tea to go down then Elliot go home

I think the show should prevent these situations from happening. Instead they’re broadcasting ableism (UK season 2 episode 1 has hurt a lot of people who have an ostomy bag), transphobia, scapegoating, favoritism, etc. They try to divide their queens and encourage bullying for good television. There are so many people over the years who have crossed a line, the judges included. And Elliott is now the next in line. I wish this would stop. I don’t approve of what Elliott has said at all, but what if he is bipolar and has no idea what he says for example? We have no idea where it comes from yet. The show could easily school their contestants and give them a short education on racism, bigotry, ableism, transphobia and many other kinds of hate, so everyone is equally aware. I know a lot of people don’t want to watch Drag Race anymore because of how mean the queens are towards one another. Doesn’t that say something? Why encourage this by creating a winners and losers circle and placing Elliott outside of both? That still doesn’t justify the things he said, but doing that to someone who’s mentally struggling is not okay either. People are responsible for their actions, but that also goes for the show and I think Drag Race should take this responsibility and put a stop to the hate that goes on in their name. Instead they like to add fuel to the fire. Why have they not given the Vixen a positive edit and a way to broadcast their very important message? Why have they not given Eureka a platform to spread body positive awareness? Instead of letting them fight each other and that way create negativity for both of the good causes they’re making themselves strong for. Is that good television or is it a waste of air time that could have been used for something that’s even a lot better? There are many examples like this and everything inside me wishes that the show would use their platform to get people on the same side and act strongly against any form of hate.

Suzanne Smith

I don't think we can cast aspersions on POC for not speaking up in spaces that maybe don't feel safe

this no excuse for elliotts behaviour but i have a feeling he's just a lil.. dumb. LIKE that sounds so mean but even on her lives she seems a bit not socially aware? but when she got the call she shouldve been educated enough before she went on the show like you cant just show up and be that ignorant towards poc and trans people and expect an easy slide that no ones gonna say nothing. idk. it's really disappointing and makes her unlikeable, i mean her drag so far isn't exactly pulling favours for her soo.. she could've at least been nice?

Vincenzo Russo

Hopefully, Elliott seeing how he comes off with no self-awareness on screen, and having some real tea spilled will help him in the long run. Gotta call out the bullshit but then give people a chance to grow and change and be better. Mental health issues are tough and it does keep people in a bubble not understanding how their actions come off unless it's pointed out. I hope there is growth for her through this.

Kelly in CT

idc if he has depression if he’s “oblivious” he’s a grown ass man that works near DFW and you know texas has a lot of queens of color. in this political climate he is blatantly choosing to be offensive and problematic at the expense of the already discriminated and marginalized minorities that already have to deal with this bs outside of whats supposed to be a safe environment for them. also the insta posts show a CLEAR pattern ...

Did she apologize for making a "white girls" trope in the episode? Kandy isn't exactly a reliable narrator.

D

The house of Avalon confirmed Elliotts comments to symone. If you need the video go to gottemdrgc and go to their stories about Elliott with 2 Ls situation

I have a feeling that Eliott is oblivious to how he comes off to people. His reads in mini challenge, his comments in the first "winners" episode. all of the remarks here and there - he is just lacking emotional intelligence and struggle hard with reading social cues and that comes to racial topic as well - he calls his drag "ratched" in his verse in "Condragulations", he was ignorant about "black girl magic" and it doesn't seem that he is vicious or even intentional about it. It's hard to see his as a "villain" cause as you said - that was really sad to watch. It doesn't give him a pass for problematic behaviour, not at all, but it also hard to really despise him.

Stepan Chizhov

did anyone feel slightly different about the elliott stuff after yesterdays episode? i kind of felt sad for her - it doesn't excuse her actions, but i definitely got the sense of a person with mental health problems (i mean, she literally said that she has clinical depression) and also maybe just... not great social skills? you can see how desperate she is to be friends with the others, but for whatever reason the other girls (and the audience at home it seems, including myself tbh) dont like her off the bat, so maybe she has less benefit of the doubt when something comes off harsh or offensive when it was potentially not intended to be so. She has very "picked last for sports" energy, if you know what I mean. But then, even if that explained why the other queens don't like her, none of that would excuse past behaviour or social media posts, so I suppose it doesn't really change much. I just found her storyline in this episode a bit upsetting to watch. I don't know what to think about it really. I am a white cis person so it isn't really my place to say if it changes anything or not (and ultimately I think whatever the reason, she needs to address what's being said and apologise, whether the offence was intentional or not), but I just wondered what others thought about her in this last episode? (ps. I am genuinely asking and not trying to defend her or deflect from her actions at all, apologies if it comes off that way - i am just wondering what people thought of her 'storyline' in relation to all this)

um hating that elliott is speaking like keeper of black girl magic

Idk I think there may be some wiggle room in the context of that first clip. Every other queen was like visibly and audibly following and agreeing with what Elliott was saying. For me it's trying to figure out if aggressive is linked to 'black girl magic' (which idk how someone aggressively emulates that tbh), or if aggressive is linked to the comment of going into the show with a message/brand/trope/etc in mind. Doesn't mean I don't believe other stuff, I'm interested to see what else comes out.

According to Kandy, a lot of the comments Elliot made were off camera

Justin Bruce

monét looks so good in this

I had thought this too. Though all I can say is that there are ppl up in these comments with receipts showing otherwise, at least when it comes to any growth on the part of Elliott during filming. She was on a podcast that was released after filming, and continued to use microaggressive language (the episode has since been taken down apparently). It’s definitely Pollyanna on my part to think of RDR as summer camp for racism, but the broader conversation being produced in a way is interesting to think about!

The show needs to stop editing stuff like this out. If girls like Elliott feel so comfortable being racist and transphobic let us see it so we see who they are from the get go and they ruin they’re own reputations. Plus if I were Gottmik or Symone that would irk the fck outta me.

Can we stop blaming people of colour for white peoples behaviour.. this comments sounding a little “she shouldn’t of worn that” to me..

Siba Tobias

Bob did say she had a punchable face...

I’ve really only been keeping up with drag race via Twitter, so I’m not caught up on everything that’s going on and I’m not really a part of necessarily any certain fanbases either but wow

HI 🙋🏻‍♀️ so I’m like reeeeeeaaaaaalllly confused by Kandy Muse on social media .. like there’s a bunch of videos of her saying that Elliot was awful and saying micro aggressions to everyone and like getting visibly & rightfully upset about it, but then like Is all buddy buddy over twitter? Like WOW tweeted a vid from untucked of them having a sister moment which like also wuut? But I’m just so confused.. like KANDY PICK A LANE. Am I alone in this? Or have I opened a door of confusion !

this opens my eyes so much. can’t believe 2 weeks ago i was upset w kandy for seemingly calling elliott out for no reason... but it was not no reason. all the hate kandy got from that. for nothing. watching this before tonight’s episode... MEGA MEGA FUCKING FUMING

Unrelated but everyone listen to Tamisha Iman's new BOP https://open.spotify.com/album/00pmG07qlKUF2GB28EwLrc?si=--vcySRbS_2eSvcvncGKbA&utm_source=copy-link

BiiCurious George

I was always wondering why kandy felt so strong against her and now I fuckin get it

BRUHHH I DIDNT EVEB KNOW THAT

Elliot w two micro aggressions

Monet makin up words again “micro aggression-all” 😂😂

Tamara

Monet was genuinely asking though lmao

this must HAVE been made before the compilation post was made about Eliott

Devoncollen

What are your thoughts on Nina Bonina Brown’s transphobic comments against Gottmik in all of her recaps for the season? (And even before this season...) Well, aside from Monét asking “What is an NBB?” which was amazing 🤣

Oof that beginning clip of Elliott’s “black girl magic” speech at a table with all queens of color was cringey to say the least

Bob and Monet keep all of us FED on Patreon, welcome!

Jade Hunter

And Bob said Elliot with 3 K’s 😭

anthony w.

Girl. Kandy brought it up because people were confused by her comment about Elliott needing to be self-aware and read the room, which she gave context to. Was Kandy supposed to come out of episode 1 saying “Oh yeah by the way, Elliott called me ghetto in a later episode”? Personally, I don’t feel like policing when/how POC queens address racism is the way to go.

Jade Hunter

It was sad seeing the other queens in the video with Elliott not speaking up about it or stopping her right then and there. But Also I am curious about your thoughts on what Nina Bonina Brown had said about GottMik. Because what is interesting is that, and I understand, that it blew up, but I havent personally seen other queens calling out Elliott but the queens were calling out NBB

Issa Hourani

I think that if what Kandy said is true, production had to have known about Elliott saying problematic stuff, and have chosen to not include any of it. To be fair, however, Kandy did mention on an IG live that a lot of the harmful things Elliott said happened off camera, so I don’t want to accuse production of protecting Elliott if they didn’t have it on camera to begin with. It’s a heavy topic tbh

Jade Hunter

kitchen table talk

You'd think Elliott would address it??? Especially with how intense the fans are. But, then again, problematic people usually don't realize they're problematic.

Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to react in those situations. I do wish Coco, Alexis, or Kahanna said something when it happened, but I don't want to fault them for potentially not catching exactly what Elliott said in the moment, feeling uncomfortable to speak up on camera, or whatever the case was.

Jade Hunter

Elliott's use of AAVE has always bothered me as well

Rick Betita

Not sure if y’all have seen it, but people found Elliott’s old posts where she kept mocking the fact that black Barbies are less purchased than white Barbies, she had a post that was pro-Trump, and she dead-named Caitlyn Jenner multiple times after she came out as trans (which adds support to the claims of her being transphobic towards Mik). Not to mention her comment that she was annoyed people could spell “Ladarius Dupree Davenport O’Hara” (all names typically used by black queens) but couldn’t spell “Elliott” right. In my opinion, Elliott has a past of saying/doing racist and transphobic things, and I do think that her silence on the issue speaks volumes about her character. I’m glad that Kandy isn’t staying quiet out of fear, and isn’t letting a white queen get away with these things.

Jade Hunter

Unlike some people, I do blame those who nodded along with Elliott. I still love them, but we have to hold people accountable and they should have at least asked, “What do you mean by that?” Think if Elliott had said something more overtly racist (although I think that was clear cut enough) and if they had nodded along.

So I started watching "One Night In Miami". There's a scene in the beginning where Jim Brown (Aldis Hodge) is having a chat with a white neighbor of his on the neighbor's porch. Innocent enough, they're in the American South (I think Alabama) so why not sit outside and have a cool glass of lemonade? The whole time the neighbor is saying "Oh don't pay those other folks (the other whites in the town) any mind. I'm proud that you're from here; that I can say I'm from Jim Brown's hometown." The neighbor's granddaughter comes out to remind him that he's gotta move some furniture in the house. Jim offers to move the item because the man is elderly. The neighbor turns to him and says "You know we don't allow niggers in the house. You take care now!". That's what I thought of when I saw the opening of this bonus clip and Elliott says "But not agressive....".

thanks for posting this. It’s great Kandy is talking about it openly, it can be scary because the fans can be so racist too. I don’t blame those girls in the “not aggressive” video for just nodding along with it in the moment at all. Hopefully Elliotttttttttttt(kkk) will reflect and learn and we won’t have to hear too much from her for a while and the discussion will make other white queens and fans think (including me as a white fan too.) I only want fun drama in the workroom, not nonsense that makes queens actually feel marginalized. Do y’all think the production team has a responsibility to better protect queens or at least show what they’re responding to?

Caitlin C

It is NEVER not funny. I’m obsessed

Elliott has the same complex that a lot of gay white men have, that because they’re gay, they’re oppressed and they “get it” (the struggle that a lot of BIPOC go through) so when they say or do micro aggressions they don’t feel the need to take responsibility for it. Even though that’s not the case.

Haven’t watched this yet sadly but I hope yall bring up the black girl magic comment, and the ladarius dupree davenport ohara comment 😭

OWEN MCKINNEY

If it duckwalks and quacks, it might be... full of implicit bias.

I am not American and I wasn't aware calling someone gu*tto or r*achid was offensive/racist, I thought it was sort of Drag Queen's vocabulary. Keep in mind English is not my first language tho. Everyday you learn something new.

welcome to the stage.... Elliot with 3 K’s

natedawqq

When meet the queens dropped, there was just something about Elliott that rubbed me the wrong way and throughout the competition I just haven’t been getting a good vibe from her! And I was reading the comments with people swooning over her and I was like damn really? So while I’m sickened by this behavior, I honestly can’t say I’m surprised

This. Racism isnt only in the white community and its so overlooked.

The thing that bothers me the most about about what Bob said on drag performers who have said transphobic things backstage because there are no trans people around...is that someone around them may be trans but in the closet. Like, if I were struggling with my gender identity and someone came up to me and started saying transphobic things because they thought there were no trans people around, I would feel like complete shit.

Mason Procell

Wawwwwww LMFAOOOO😭😭😭

Cush

Omg I HAVE been waiting!!

Matt

I figured that’s what they were referring to. I remember squirming at that during a rewatch. After seeing Bianca (Jiggly) talk about the use of the t-word in a round table talk, I understand that in SOME contexts, Bianca didn’t mind her friends using the t-word as a form of endearment. Similar to how black people use the n-word with each other (I’m black just for context), and MAY allow non-black people to use the term around them. However, as we know, not every black and transgender person are the same, and just because they give you a pass in conversations with them, doesn’t mean you can go and use the slurs freely. Or even at all. Even if it is not the intention, the impact of the slur is still quite hurtful.

Ok not Monet calling Elliot everything but their actual name 😂 “Elian” “Elio” let me know if I missed any 💀

Asha Bynum

how very “Republican Party” of her.

Holly Golden

Elliott did address it before Kandy's video came out, but with a non-apology apology. She said she was sorry for how she overreacted to people calling her out but didn't actually apologize for the microaggression. She also asked everyone to move forward (basically move on, this is over, stop talking to me about it lol). https://www.reddit.com/r/RPDRDRAMA/comments/l29zsq/elliotts_response_to_her_microaggressions_being/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

I want people to start checking people for this shit as it happens though. Eliott sat there and said what she said in front of 3 Queens of color, and not one of them was like "hold up bitch" lol and imo that's what allows people to continue being the way they are and saying the shit they do. Swift and consistent consequences for behavior is what will teach people. If she got popped in her mouth every time she said some shit like that, I bet she'd have learned lol

Empress Akilah

never liked Elliot pug-nosed ass before any of this spread, especially his annoying nasally voice lol so him being microaggressive and transphobic is just icing on the caked i

sameeeeeeeee!

This reminds me of a clip I saw the other day of Alexis saying “Hi Manila!” to a random Asian woman walking down the street. And then she was like “I just saw Manila girl.” That made me uncomfortable tbh.

anthony w.

Thank you guys for going in-depth on this! I saw it on Twitter but was just confused because there were so many things being said at once. So glad I could join this Patreon to just get the simple to point answers. Love you, and I can not wait for what this reunion is gonna look like <3

Kandy said in a live that it wasn’t said on camera. So perhaps she knew when to turn it off? If that’s the case, I find that even more troubling.

I made a Patreon just for this mama, I was logging on everyday for this lol

not elliot with three k's lmao

Drake Mathews

thank you for commenting on this, i'm sure it wasn't pleasant

They talk about it a bit on the most recent stereo

jguy

And Bob still got the Symone impression in! 🙌🏾

MadMaxineShaw

I would love some corroboration on these comments, plus a response from E. The sooner the better, really.

Jordan Bush

Whew chile. I didn’t catch this initially, so thanks for pointing it out. The caucasity of Miss 3 K’s. Let me go back and rewatch 👀

Where was that video with coco taken. It looks like it’s from 20 years ago lol

jguy

In episode 3 when Elliott said that Symone should be in the bottom with such anger, when Symone clearly did the best through out the entire episode I was very confused. And that was my 1st "something ain't right". That's that flavor of "I'm not racist, i just hate everything about/don't understand your culture" that people try to slide by with all the time. As if durags don't belong on drag race or something. Is it too "improper" for your sensibilities? Help me understand.

She apparently took down like 79 posts that featured her use of racist and transphobic language.

We know we can trust both of you to talk about the real stuff that goes on bts

juno

Thank you for this video. For the longest time, I didn't understand why the girls were coming for Ms. 2 T's. I thought it was unwarranted. I'm wondering why these microaggressions aren't aired. That could be a good teaching moment.

Giiiirl the tea is hot 🥵

Rodrick Washington

I can't speak to experiencing microaggressions personally, but Elliott's comments remind me so much of people I grew up around in the south. It's a very common way "woke" southern white people interact with and talk about POC. Elliott rubbed me wrong from day one and now my bad vibes make a whole lot of sense.

I checked and you're right, they took down the episode with Elliott "they can't spell my name but they can spell O'Hara and Davenport". Wish I hadn't deleted it from my downloads so his words are not lost, but to be fair to me I never liked him and Kahmora was right, his voice is super annoying.

That aggressive comment really pissed me off, brought me back to The Vixen having to deal with all that shit with Aquaria.

Kelly in CT

Anyone else watch the XChange rate after this to look for that clip? LOL I think they edited out the eye rolls Monet saw (tit starts around the 7:30 mark btw if anyone wants to look LOL)

It’s the being so confident that she thought her problematic language was actually a compliment for me

Sonia Boy

LOL are we ALL potheads? Monet is in good company, Bob's a little anxious.. 😂

Derek Williams

Not Coco agreeing 👀👀👀👀👀

Yes! I feel like the micro-aggressions against Latinx people from both the judges and the contestants have been disgusting to hear. None of it is talked about enough, so I appreciate them bringing it up!

Welp. This is making a lot of sense.

Edward C

I love y’all 😂

Would’ve loved for this to be longer! This is a conversation that needs to be had. As much as I love exclusive content, this needs to be shared for non-Patreon members. Also, we need to make a podcast about toxicity, microaggressions, and transphobia/racism in the fandom, and invite contestants who have been bullied by the fans with this language to come on and discuss it. It can be a series of podcasts. This conversation needs to continue ✊🏿

Thank you for bringing to attention the micro aggressions against Latinx folks. It has always bothered me and I am grateful to know that I am not alone in my feelings.

Barrionerd

?

Thank you so much for talking about this:))))I was worried it would go unnoticed! It makes so much more sense with how Kandy reacted

I had to lie to my kids to get out of playing games to watch this!! Bong packed , ready to spill!!

Kelly in CT

thats a weird way to put it, nbb was being transphobic

Took the bong out when I got the notification! And the fact that some current RuGirls want you to cosign their transphobia is really gross.

Derek Williams

You gotta link???

jessica bw

Maybe they didn’t feel it was a problem. Maybe they do not feel it’s a microaggression. Just maybe..

JL

Ya'll need to react to all her social media posts over the years too lol.

Robert Khachatryan

did you see that tweeter thread about utica ?

What do you guys think of the Nina bonina brown attacks from gotmiks fans

Not only this but Kandy said on another live she was switching to AAVE only when she spoke to black producers. And I don't believe she cares because she's been responding on socials to people confronting her like nothing she said was wrong and blocking people.

Cush

Heard Elliott on another podcast reviewing first episode and her comments made me immediately cringe. Several dog whistles/micro aggressions were immediately recognizable and made it hard to listen honestly; it made me very uncomfortable and makes rumors very easy to believe

Hayes H

during the iconic shangela episode, the girls argue if Mariah was on hormones, call her the t slur, and were being extremely transphobic

yeah i think it's really important to address those situations and not let them get away that easily.

The 3 Ks take me out!

I KNOW I rewatched season 8 a few months ago and when Michelle and fucking Derick called Bob ratchet my stomach dropped and I was just SO ANGRY that they used to let micro aggressions like that slide. Bob was not looking or acting "rachet" in any way shape or form so it was just so obvious that they only used that word bc bob is black. these are GROWWWN ppl who should've known better regardless of how long ago that was

Allie

vh1 release the elliott being racist and transphobic tapes ... expose herrrr

maria

Second on the Sharon episode, I loved her season and she remains someone i’ve enjoyed but i’ve also never met her...

Between this and NBB, this week has been crazy

My issue is with CoCo & Kahanna as well. Why didn’t they check her as soon as she said what she said when on Alexis channel? If my friends say something I feel is offensive, I’m checking their ass then & there, letting them know it’s not cool, smh.

Kells881

finally someone with a bigger platform talking about this because the double standards with white queens and accountability

As a trans woman that has to face micro aggressions, I do think Elliott should be held accountable for her behavior. Also did you see those deleted instagram posts about black barbies and Caitlyn Jenner ? So disguting. Don't know if you already addressed it but I hope you'll make an episode or a talk like this one about NBB with her transphobic statements about Mik and how she isn't giving us/her any piece of apology... I don't wanna be this girl but I'ma be her, Elliott and NBB are clearly cancelled for me.

She’s also blocking people calling her out on her racist/transphobic remarks.

This is why we can’t run to social media to bash queens without getting the full tea. I’ve been rocking with Kandy since day one on this.

Bitch I just screameddddd, this was right in time for the new episode.

Quarantine bitch

I get strange voyeur ' I'm watching you' energy from Elliott; he gives off those "what lies beneath" vibes. But he's detachment could be that he's not comfortable on camera

Dr. Pamela Chollet

Thank youuu

Emma

Ive gotta say the most creative one I saw was "Microaggression with 2 Gs"

Ahahah

Emma

Kandy apologized for using a mirror from a brand owned by a racist. Still waiting for Elliott to even mention being accused of transphobia!

Emma

Absolutely agree. When I say, “it’s just drag,” I more so say that when queens are just being catty and shady (because I live for drama), and to defend the queens from the cyberbullying. Now when there is racist and transphobic rhetoric thrown about, then that’s something I can’t condone and will call someone out on it.

I saw “Elliott with 2 Gs and a hard R” on twitter and when I say I SCREAMED

Kamry Goodwin

can y’all also talk about what happened with sharon as well? i feel like all that stuff came out about her grooming minors and being racist, along with a google doc full of hard evidence, but now its gone and she’s back to uploading content? Is no one else thoroughly confused about this?

Adriana

Elliott needs to come clean and apologize and admit the need to grow fer reelz; however, they’ve known about this for a year, how convenient for Kandy to now say something since she is by far the one many people are not happy with. Was It not that important until you needed to bring it up to deflect?

Elliott rubbed me the wrong way from day ONEE and I ain’t buying anything she selling peridt.

Luna

Scroll to 8:21 for elliott and you can sort of see the reactions but it is hard to tell https://youtu.be/q1B-6bhWUYA

jessica bw

Does anyone think the Drag Race producers want these sensitive societal issues exposed so that they'll be discussed on social media platforms? I wonder if the people responsible for the show's edit aren't using the content and the contestants' interactions to further a separate agenda.

Dr. Pamela Chollet

I’ve never clicked something so fast. I don’t care that I’m at work lol

what in the crunchy ass facebook mom is this

My name is Elliot. I thought I was in trouble for a second lol.

Okay so I just have a question, maybe it’s silly to bring up another podcast lol but like Elliott’s episode of Drag Her! was taken down?? It was s.13 ep 3 podcast and Elliott was definitely shady/ and talking in micro aggressions in it

Literally clicked that notification right away and smoked a bowl hahaha

Kayla Haynes

Deeply grateful to be a cousin ❤️❤️ love you guys. In the future I hope that the transphobia is addressed seriously bc If I ever got up in the club and someone was popping off at the mouth it’s hands. I wouldn’t just not co-sign I’d tell them to shut up or get the fuck out of a safe space

I’m from Vegas and every RPDR viewing party has Elliott there....lord help me

Elaina

Wdym?

What about these crunchy boomer tweets 🙄 https://twitter.com/theelliottqueen/status/1357577822215131137?s=19 https://twitter.com/theelliottqueen/status/1356498553175121920?s=19

I am so glad that you guys take racist and transphobic language seriously. People always be saying "iTs Just Draggg" when being held accountable for things they said. Like yes I know its drag- and Drag/nightlife culture is often Transphobic and racist. Why would anyone WANT drag to be like that tf. ? like with the NINA BB thing, I have heard many people say there is not a thing wrong with what she said. What she said was not the worst thing ever, but come on. Even if someone is queer, it does not mean that they can't be harming other queer people. I feel so bad for MIK. as the only trans male person to EVER be on drag race (that we know of), and I am already hearing about this discrimination from two drag artists. It really shows how brave he is. Drag is so gatekeepy towards AFAB bodies. Its sad and triggering for the trans fans to see. we already see trans bodies excluded from so many competition settings. MIK really did that.

Elliot also made comments limited on all her IG posts, like she knows what’s going on but isn’t talking about it...

This was why I became I patron I had to hear y’all’s thoughts 😭

Nozo

I was talking to my sister about the second episode when it came out and I told her I didn't like Elliott, she asked why and I couldn't put my finger on it. Like when she "spoke" Spanish to kandy I didn't like her right them

Neshee King

What did she say?

Caeden Carlisle

On season 8, Derrick asked bob to teacher how to do rachet drag

Caeden Carlisle

I had to put my AirPods in at work cause I was not waiting

Oo just got here after 4:20, let's go girls.

What are you basing this off of? What comments were made that made you think they weren’t transphobic?

I ran over here because I been wondering what’s been really been going on. I wish drag race would have shown the entire story instead of just showing Kandy’s reaction. I knew there was a deeper reason why she felt a certain way about her.

Diamond Nicole

I mean Kandy said “Read the room” 👀

Did y’all see Elliott turned off the comments to her last post?

*this is NO EXCUSE,* but I get the feeling Elliot is from a very white town. Like she did not see a POC in person until age 20. That combined with a lack of critical thinking skills is a scary combo.

the confessional blazer gave off resounding "i was a young republican" vibes so i just didn't engage with her presence in episodes

Damn I feel bad for Kandy now. The fans thought she was being mean to Elliot just to be mean but I see now she was absolutely in the right the whole time.

I RAN here

Taurean Reid

Who called Bob ratchet tf!🤬!!! Luv these puffs on Monet.. I'm going back to watch the eye rolls for sure... Monet we miss the X Change Rate😫😫😫😫

RO Shawty Cakes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1B-6bhWUYA around 8 minutes

It sounds like people are using the term "transphobia" incorrectly. Being insensitive to something doesnt imply phobic.

Nooooooo you didnt even get to the problematic instagram elliott posts!!! Go check reddit theres so much more 😭😭

But did y’all see those post she deleted? Like the picture of the black Barbie doll with the caption “I’m telling you they can’t sell black Barbie to anyone lol.”

Trai Rule

That part. I said something like this in a YouTube comment but Coco was nodding emphatically with that mess which is a whole additional layer to the issue.

finding out that someone called Bob ratchet. Angers the shit out of me. The whole time I watched bob on her season I fell in love. Like I drive to be like bob. Bob is fucking amazing. And to know she felt with micro aggressions breaks my heart. Just a few days ago I was on a FB drag race page and people where going hard on Kandy calling her the Silky on season 13. And I find both to be very different people. I called out the racist and people came form me. Hate this fandom sometimes

I definitely agree that the fact she hasn’t said anything makes her look SO guilty!!!

Lordt

Bliptor

transphobic w two Ts

Just went back to the exchange rate s13 queens episode at 8:30 you can see Symone, La La, and Kandy’s faces being like...mhm okay Elliott

Joseph Shanahan

Oof Miss Elliott. What does “aggressive black girl magic” entail🤔 I’m mad the other queens were agreeing like she made several points🤦🏾‍♀️

Kayla

stop ittt where?

Marcus Been

I WAS NOT READY FOR THIS TODAY

Elliot with 3 k’s... IM FUCKING DEADDDDDD

Season 2 was worse. Look at how they treated Mystic Summers Madison.

Marcus Been

If you even scroll back through Elliott’s social media you will definitely see a few examples of the racism and micro aggressions. The fact that that is just out in the open leaves me no choice but to believe that Elliott does not care.

Joia G

not ALIEN lmaoooo. Damn it, I should have beeeeen a patron (I came for the Untucked video and will never leave). smh I was missing out. Love yall!

My spirit knew something was off with miss Elliott as soon as the meet the queens dropped! I’m willing to see how this plays out and if she apologizes. But for now it’s still “Elliott with the punchable face” for me 🤷🏾‍♀️

sade Tuitt

Haven't even been a Patreon for 20 minutes yet and this hot tea is already out

Where is Claudette (Larxenn)

We Gotta talk about Nina bonina brown

Bambi

I was hoping you guys were going to talk about the screenshots! Maybe that tea came out after this was recorded.

Courtney Knight

Do NBB next because sis is wild for that BS she pulled.

i was about to step away from my computer but then i got the notification, lemme sit back down

Also some of Elliott’s old Instagram posts 😬

The TEA! Are y’all going to address the Nina/Gotmik issue? Would love to hear your input!

*pauses R&H Cinderella to soak up this tea* 🐸☕️

LaWanda Wakanda

A queen who I’m mutuals with on Tik Tok said that Elliott has a “reputation” in Vegas and that it’ll soon come back to bite her lol

The way I ended up a work zoom meeting to watch this

Exzel Roa

There’s always one... 😣

I need to know y’all’s take on what Nina Bonina Brown said about Gottmik!

Girl.... Elliott needs to speak up one way or another.

FeiztyLeo (Jayson)

I really left work for a “15 min” break just to watch this 😂😂

Omg can you guys talk about NBB? I would love to hear your takes on the situation, because you’re both so eloquent and articulate about things like this

I feel like people have been on the hate Elliott bus from the start even before these rumors. Also I think his phrasing is wrong, but hopefully he learns.

It’s cringey

Chile the he said, she said gotta go. I hope they make this conversation happen, so everyone can grow. Until then #nextcaller

Westly Jones

How did Elliot get on a season with a transman and multiple black queens who actively spoke out about racism and transphobia in the world and still came slinging micro aggressions

Caeden Carlisle

Apparently the Shangela and Mimi thing was even worse than they showed

I really wanted to like elliottina but #yikes

They recently had a “Toxicity in the Drag Race Fandom” episode on the Stereo app a couple of days ago; they should be posting it on Patreon soon!

I've been waitingggggggggg thanks for a thoughtful conversation about this!

I clicked THE SECOND this came up!

anyone have the timestamp for the queens rolling their eyes during the season 13 interview with monet?

As soon as I got the alert this was dropped i ran 🏃🏻‍♀️💨

Lyn Strober-Cohen

OMGGGG AHHHHH SKDKSDKDKDKD

Lmao yes we do call Elliott ..... Elliott with Three KKK..... I’m not here for it. Also, the recent edit it’s only for the proof of VH1 need to victimizes White queens.

Chester Campbell
