When it comes to acomodating for Tamisha there are more layers, Tamisha didn't want special treatment. At the same time Tamisha is not in the same health level of everyone. It is a fine balance between ableism, soft biggotry of low expectations and considerations. IMO there are some considerations to be made but Tamisha was not bttm 2 or even bttm 3.

This challenge was boooooring. The runway was booooooring. I disagree with Tamisha being in the bottom. I stan Tamisha and I’m biased and I don’t care lol. Kandi was wrong for wearing a dress similar to Aja’s dress. I know they’re both referencing another designer’s look, but still, why did she wear it if it’s already been done? AND it wasn’t even mostly black. I wouldn’t look at that dress and think LBD. Didn’t she go out of her way to say she’s not house of Aja anymore? It didn’t feel like a “like mother like daughter” moment to me. It also didn’t look as good as Aja’s so that was silly, in my opinion. Also, I don’t think that they should have let Olivia win wearing that ugly ass, dry ass dress. She did well in the challenge, but just like how they wouldn’t let Monet win in season 10 when her runways were off, they should’ve given the win to someone else. I also think they should’ve gave Monet at least one win her her season. I usually love the dancing challenges, but the way it was edited made the dances too short. I did not enjoy this episode, but I LOVE Bob and Monet and I loved hearing their opinions. 🥰

I stan Ms Tamisha Iman. I work with patients every week who have colostomy bags. I can tell you that they are painful, often get infected, you have decreased activity, at the very least they're highly uncomfortable, and you're usually in a state of non-stop fear and anxiety that something's going to happen to it because they often can come undone, and then you're back in the hospital again trying to get it cleaned and reattached. I'm just in complete awe that she went through the rigors of production for as long as she did trying to keep up with the other girls in the competition. She is amazing.

Tamisha should be judged on a curve. Bob couldn't recall, but Tamisha said she had stage 3 colon cancer. So you could assume the ostomy bag is a colostomy bag. A part of her colon was excised and a bag is in its place taped to her abdomen for the rest of her life. It's not a "she STILL has it" leftover-from-cancer kind of thing. It's a "SHE'LL ALWAYS HAVE IT" kind of thing, y'all! We can't even begin to understand how brave and how fearless Tamisha was for dancing and trying to do impossible things so soon into this experience. I love Tamisha! This episode was so sad. My opinions on the tops and bottoms: Tops: Olivia, Tina, Denali Btms: Kandy, Tamisha, Gottmik I think the winner and the BTM2 made sense in my fantasy, I think Elliott's dancing was not good enough to justify her being in the top with that basic ass outfit. Denali had great dancing and had a really cool concept for the runway but her dancing outfit was not disco unfortunately. Gottmik although the outfit is really out of the box it was honestly lack luster, it seemed a bit lazy and I applaud them for being confident on the main stage being able to show off their transition but it has been a lot of naked runways recently. I thought Utica had a really cool runway despite the judges not getting it and although she was campy, she was in no means forgetting or looking a fool in choreo like Gottmik was.

I think some queens come on the show too calculated and try to present the perfect version of themselves. and that doesn't make fun reality tv bc a produced version of yourself is not real. thats why Miz Cracker, Jan(sport), and even Gigi Goode never really did it for me because they were trying way toooo hard to be perfect. and imo ended up coming across inauthentic. AS SOMEONE WITH A HIDDEN DISABILITY, thank you SO much for having a conversation about the ableism. I have POTS and Elhers Danlos Hypermobility, and everyday, because i LOOK fine i am judged/treated like anyone else, and I wish I could be powerful and graceful like Tamisha and be ok with it but we need equity, not equality. Like Bob said, giving someone in a wheelchair and an abled person identical circumstances, the person in a wheelchair is still at a point of disadvantage. It stung especially as I didn’t see her being the worst. They easily could have just made her safe in my opinion and it would have been fair. But again, because someone looks ok, they are often treated like they are, so we will never be the top of the pile, we will never be the shining star, always just seen as lacking. I disagree that the Judges should take into account Tamisha's injuries/disabilities when judging her. Bob, your example about the wheelchair and ramp addresses access, and Tamisha had access to the stage and everything she needed. But when it comes to a lipsync between a girl in a wheelchair and a girl who isn't in one, it's what each performer brings to the stage, and the girl in the wheelchair has to bring it despite that disadvantage. As long as she's given the same access, I would assume that's how she would want to be judged, and not just given a pass because she's "disabled." Further, no one "put Tamisha on the show;" Tamisha put herself there. She declined one season, she could have declined again until she felt 100%. It's unfortunate, but I think the judges did the right thing. Now, whether she deserved to be in the bottom at all....well, that's another story.
