I think that sign is perfectly fine. It seems weird not seeing the humor in the looting sign, but being able to laugh at the Chris Rock simile about people killing others. I think the latter is much more serious, but I can see the humor in both.

It’s a different environment, a standup show where people are expecting edgy jokes compared to a protests that’s not really a light hearted environment

Chris rock's joke is specifically criticizing the contradicting expectations we have of two sets of professionals whose judgment we rely on in life or death situations. Forcing us to confront this cognitive dissonance to encourage a change in thought. The contradiction is the punchline of this joke. The punchline of Bob's joke is based on a subversion of expectations, based on the front of the sign we don't expect him to ask the looters for louboutin's. I think it's funny, but Monet's right that it makes light of the act of looting. But I don't think it's making light of the controversy around looting.

So awesome to see the protests are making a difference so quickly. Might not be much but it's a start. BLM. Also with the Milk drinking thing. People of European and Middle-Eastern decent have a significantly higher tolerance to dairy/milk products compared to other ethniticies due to the amount of time they've been consuming milk over the thousands of years/ developing enzymes that break down the goodies in milk. So basically we've been sucking cow and goat tittie juice longer than others and our bodies got used to it.

Chris Rock's joke makes a more educational comparison that just happens to be funny. It could be said as a joke or a statement. Bob's joke is more just for the funny, which could be why it's seems to be more inapproiate for a sign. It's more slapstick for the punchline.

The video/audio was sooo out of sync it made it difficult to watch this, compared to the podcast where the audio synced up perfectly.

You can see businesses, politicians, and even friends in the movement saying they support BLM but don't support defunding the police. I hope the next step in the movement is people realizing that defunding the police will be liberation for all, and that we need to defund (and then abolish) the police or police violence will continue under the disguise of police reform.
