I remember him as a joke as the crackhead mayor (or I guess, the white, Canadian crack smoking mayor) but I will only sub if you lot promise to cover some of my local mayors, and assuage my cold, cold New England heart! If you want a hilariously corrupt, mobbed up mayor take a trip on down to Providence, RI and cover Buddy Cianci, who was crooked as a dogs leg and twice as funny. And Mayor Thomas 'Mumbles' Menino, our longest serving mayor and his many controversies and dumbshittery, like his decades long feud with the fire dept for not giving his brother a job like forty years ago. That man could hold a grudge!

2024-10-10 20:40:21 +0000 UTCBut anyways Hammersmith and Fulham (now Hammersmith and Chelsea I think, they redid the seat and it’s weird now) has been a very strong (not particularly new) Labour seat for quite a while and same with council I believe. Certainly for last 20 years or so.

Predictably, the only people keen on buying Boris' highly illegal second-hand water cannons were regimes the Germans wouldn't sell water cannons to directly.
