Discord title question

Hey all,

I'm working on a Discord server for my fans. If you don't know what that is, it's like a chat/video hangout software for people who have similar interests. It's normally used for gamers to have a place to combine the old forums/chats/and voice communications. A company called Slack basically ripped off the model for businesses (some of you might use Slack for work- it's pretty much the same thing). The software works really good on your phone or browser, and I'm going to be able to do a lot of fun stuff with it that I can't really do on Facebook like play games with you guys, do fun live events, and host fan participation games.

I'm going this direction because FB seems to be kind of dying, and I keep getting banned there for sharing my sexy as fuck Man of Culture art. In some ways, Discord isn't a great replacement for Facebook because it operates more like a chatroom than  forum, but to help out with moderation and spam, I've decided to make it so that only my Patreons will be able to post there (but any of my fans can see the chat, they just can't post).

On one hand, I can see some people getting upset that they have to pay to post (but not you guys-- since you are already paying), but I want to foster a community of polite participation like I did on my Facebook group, and it's going to be way easier to do that if the only people who are allowed to post have some skin in the game. Most of you don't realize how much moderation goes on behind the scenes with my FB group, but I really do a lot of work trimming posts and banning people who are fucks. FB lets me put a "gate" on a lot of this with their "post approval" setting, but Discord doesn't have this, so if I'm not careful with how I build this community, it could quickly de-evolve into a shitty place to hang out.

My question to you guys, who I'm super grateful to because you are helping me produce entertainment far beyond just my novels, is:
Do you want you tier title on you name badge in the chat?
I can see the appeal of everyone seeing how much $ you are spending to support me, but I also wonder if some of you don't want random people on the internet knowing you pay $3-$500 to some sexy guy writing about a dude riding dinosaurs and fucking sexy alien babes.

BUT... Even if you are uncomfortable with the titles, Discord lets you change your name/handle for the server you are on. So, if you are a $100 super fan named John Smith, but you don't want a bunch of people knowing that John Smith spends $100 on supporting MSE, you can change your name to "Smithy John the Mustachio Wearing Man" or whatever to keep you identity a super secret.

What do you think?
