R|E 0.4.0 - Quarterly Release (CODE UPDATE)

Let's start this week out great with a code update to R|E that will be available to ALL! This includes an update allowing your active households to rent from other active households with rental houses available. This also includes additional appraisal factors that can greatly increase or reduce the value of your Sim's lot! The Changelog is below, but more information can also be found on the download pages.

Summary of Changes

We added/changed the following:

• Rental Property Management: For that time in your Sim's life where they own multiple pieces of property and would like those properties to start working in their favor, this update brings in additional functionality to make that happen.
• Landlord Tenancy Management: This update adds support for not only rental property but also a foundational tenant experience. In other words,  this is just the beginning of what we plan to add to the Tenant Experience. This update is focused chiefly on the Landlord side of the equation.
• Moonwood Mill and Werewolf Support: Would your Sim like to brave the unknown and live in the mystical land of Moonwood Mill? Well, you don't have to send them through the EA Move System in order to make that happen. This world has been added to avoid NPC Werewolf social interaction during R|E transactions.
• Improved Negotiation Battles and Multiple Properties Ownership: Updated the existing Process for an all-around better experience based on feedback we received after our prior release.
• !NEW! Enhanced Tenant Experience: Not only can your Sim rent out properties, your other active Sims can rent from your Landlord Sims.
• !NEW! Additional Appraisal Factors: Property values are about to be a lot more dynamic with more lot factors and additional neighborhood factors.

• Added Rent a Property interaction;
• >> The interaction shows rental listings based on the household's House Wishlist criteria that include both Apartments and Rental Properties;
• >> Sims can now rent multiple Apartments or Rental Properties;
• >> After selecting a property to rent, you can schedule a Landlord Interview.
• Added Landlord Interviews;
• >> After scheduling a Landlord Interview, the Landlord's household will automatically schedule a Tenant Interview on their end, and those events will sync up;
• >> Simmers can then approach the interview from either the landlord's side or the tenant's side. This greatly favors rotational playstyles;
• >> During a Landlord Interview, the Tenant needs to impress the Landlord to earn their lease;
• >> The Landlord will make a decision based on their Relationship with the Tenant, the Tenant's financial situation, and the interview conversation topics;
• >> The Simmer can choose to Lie About Career, which may increase the chances of getting the tenancy accepted;
• >> If the lie attempt is successful, the Sim will gain a Confident buff.
• Added new Appraisal Factors;
• >> Appraisal now takes into consideration multiple new factors for both the lot and the neighborhood;
• >> Appraisal UI has been improved to better categorize each factor;
• >> New factors include Bedroom & Bathroom Count, Landscaping, Outdoor Living, Fountains, Education Levels, Career Levels, Unemployment, and Supply & Demand.
• Added Copperdale to the Real Estate market; • Improved Manage Properties;
• >> All rented Apartments and Rental Properties will now show up on Manage Properties under a new Rental category;
• >> You can now Move Out of any inactive rental property, granted you pay the breach of lease fee.
• Improved Tenant Side Gameplay;
• >> Paying the rent on the Tenant household now properly deposits the amount to the Landlord's Rental Income for that property.
• Fixed a bug where Landlord side rent payment notifications were showing up to the Tenant household;
• Fixed a bug where Penthouses would not be available on the Real Estate market;
• Fixed a bug where sometimes tenant Excuse Calls would not show up after missing rent;
