Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day! First, a little programming note: It's Thanksgiving week/weekend in the US, which is statistically a terrible time to release videos, SO, this weekend there won't be a NEW video. Instead, I'm going to give everyone one of my recent Patreon videos (that I might add a short update to). In the meantime, maybe I'll post a Q&A here on Friday. Then we'll be getting into December, and the most wonderful time of the year... WORST SONGS SEASON! But we'll talk more about that next week.
Anyway, on with today's video, which I'm very excited about. I haven't done an Advice Patreon Asked For in over a year! I've said before, this used to be my all-time favorite segment to do, killed by the algorithm, so it now becomes an exclusive for you. Enjoy!
Buckley helps the helpless once again with Advice Patreon Asked For! First, a man approaching his mid-20s is tired of waiting for the "right" person to take his v-card (and we ain't talkin' Valentines), and wants to know whether he should keep waiting for head to Amsterdam. Then, we hear from a woman who's friend has started trying to turn her into a human ATM (the bank type, not... the other meaning).

Not necessarily. Until recently, I've been extremely unlucky when it comes to dating. Most frustrating part was how many of my female friends would praise me for my personality, followed by the phrase "how are YOU of all people still singe?" (and this happened a lot). Not to get all "male loneliness epidemic" pity up in here, but finding dates, especially through apps, just sucks for a guy.

I love doing it, but it just doesn't do well because the algorithm goes "this doesn't have any buzz words of currently popular things that are happening, we're not going to show this to anyone!" and I have to care a LITTLE about the numbers now.

2025-11-27 19:50:03 +0000 UTCIf I could give advice to the 24 year old virgin: It's not your hobbies. Plenty of women love horror movies and anime. Hate to say it, but it's probably either your personality or hygiene or both. Now granted I don't know anything other than what was in the video but the bit about "the women I'm attracted to aren't attracted to me" and "settling" has makes me suspect that I'm right. Just work on being a better person and people will want to be around you.
