Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and today we have a story that I'm... sort of a little behind on, but as we've demonstrated quite a number of times, a lot of you have lives and don't follow every little news story. This is one of the things I like about the bonus videos, being able to do topics I really wanted to talk about, but maybe didn't get a chance to before the algorithm would have just said "sorry, no one's searching for this now so we're not going to show it to anyone!" SO, enjoy this video about the creeps who are outing themselves by being upset at Texas for banning drawings of children doing... things children shouldn't be doing.
Is it the Lone Star State or the Loner Star State? We find out as Buckley looks at a new law in Texas that's aimed at stopping people from generating likenesses of children (often using AI) for... sickos. But, UH OH, the wording suggests it could be used to ban ANIME?! I guess if the anime you're into depicts underage girls doing things that you shouldn't be watching underage girls do... not a good look to defend that!

I'll take the other side of this one. I also prefer adult-looking women. But the problem with child porn, is that actual children are exploited/harmed/raped/whatever to create it. If the children are a *drawing*, then no harm no foul. You might think it's gross (and I do too) but there's lots of gross porn that shouldn't be illegal just because it's gross. Just as there's lots of speech that shouldn't be illegal just became is mean, or profane. I think there's a real argument to be made that it leads to *real* child sexual exploitation, but I think there's also an argument that it's a healthy way to get out those urges. I'd like to see more genuine scientific research conducted to find out which it is.

2025-10-13 06:08:47 +0000 UTCPeople don't understand that alot of arrested child predators and molesters always have "explicit cartoon child art" on their hard drives along with real CP. Lolicon doesn't physically hurt anyone, but it's FAR from harmless. Its a fuel source for degeneracy.
