Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and today's video is a fun one, as we wonder if maybe some people have forgotten what YouTube's supposed to be about? Do we NEED channels with 30 staff members creating shows that could air on Netflix? Well, one channel certainly found out the answer to that question the hard way. Enjoy!

But what happens when you ask your audience to fund that, on a platform full of free content? Ask "Watcher", a popular YouTube channel that alienated their fans by telling them they were going to put everything behind a paywall, and that it would be "easily affordable", at a time when so many are broke. Buckley looks at the initial outcry, the classic YouTuber apology in the aftermath, and wonders if, maybe, the true spirit of YouTube has been lost.
