Buckley discusses why he never talked about the first GamerGate, and wonders if maybe, just maybe... everyone should try to just enjoy the hobby they spend so much time screaming about online.

2024-04-07 16:43:07 +0000 UTCI usually play as a woman in games despite being a dude, so I don’t care about all the representation, what I have a problem with both this time and in the original gamergate is the hypocrisy and racism displayed by both the gaming media and the people at sweet baby inc, go ahead and look into some of the stuff these people are saying and the blatant anti white racism they are displaying on their cooperate linked social media pages, it’s the same for the original gamergate where a female game dev slept with a reviewer for a good review on her game and when called out all of the gaming media attacked gamers and especially “straight white male” gamers, in the end it was proven that journalists from different outlets were colluding to publish certain things while ignoring other issues, Anita even went before congress My point is when you see the hateful racist comments made by these sweetbaby inc founder and employees including comments about bullying devs into working with them, then all this diversity they are adding starts to look a bit more sinister
