Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and before we get to today's video, just wanted to let you know that this Saturday (well, Friday for you!) it's the semi-new annual January tradition where I tear apart the Billboard Hot 100's Annual Top 10. Elon Musk wants "X" (you know, Twitter, the thing everyone will forever call Twitter and never call it his favorite dumb letter?) to be more than just for doomscrolling short text messages and memes. He wants people to upload video content! And so, he's recently asked MrBeast to start posting his videos on the former bird site. And MrBeast basically told him the same thing that Elon told advertisers, just slightly nicer. Buckley looks at why creators wouldn't want to post videos on X, and why Elon doesn't understand.

Yeah I saw that, he uploaded an older video to see the result. And yes, I absolutely believe Musk will do the same thing he did at the beginning of "monetization", give big accounts a bonus to make it look lucrative. He also retweeted the video of course to boost it further (though funny enough, the ads in Elon's replies would technically generate money for him, not MrBeast)
