Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day and I think a lot of people have been waiting to hear me talk about ol' Jason Aldean's controversial song, so... let's just get to it, shall we? Enjoy!
Jason Aldean's "Try That in a Small Town" made headlines first for being a song that left wingers called "racist", and THEN for reaching #1 on Billboard. This, along with Morgan Wallen's current run at the top of the charts, and numerous other country songs outperforming the traditional pop and rap that normally dominates the charts, got Buckley thinking... "why hasn't this happened before?" A theory on why country has managed to impact the charts the way it has over the last few years (and of course, a little discussion about the lyrics of "Try That in a Small Town").
