It's Early Access Day, and today we're going to see if your ol' pal Buckley can be replaced by AI! How funny can a robot be? Well, I don't want to spoil anything for you, but... I think they have a little ways to go still. The machines may be good at coding, but they are awful at sarcasm and similes. Enjoy!
Is Buckley going to be made obsolete by the machines? We look at ChatGPT, the newest Internet toy that people are using to write their essays, create software, and do a number of other writing tasks that they're either too lazy or too unskilled to do themselves. But, can it write a rant? Buckley challenges ChatGPT to write a Dose-style rant about the price of concert tickets, and wonders if AI is ready to take on comedy (oh, also, a bonus rant from human Buckley about the price of concert tickets).

I asked chat, GPT to write a poem in Shakespearean language, and it did surprisingly well. Then I stated how much I dislike Shakespeare. And the warnings above the tech specs said that chat GPT is likely to be biased against certain things. So maybe itβs biased against you, Buckley. I donβt know.
