Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day! And if you pay attention to the little e-begging graphics I make on videos, you might have seen that this week was supposed to be an Advice Patreon Asked For video. I've decided to move that to next week, as this one's a little more "current events". But let me start the hype right now: I'm REALLY happy with that Advice Patreon Asked For video... it honestly might be my favorite Advice video I've done, and I'm including Advice No One Asked For #15 ("congrats, the baby's name is Benny...") So, look forward to that next week. THIS week though? We're talkin' about a video game publisher being a jerk to gamers... WHAT?! I NEVER!
Blizzard released Overwatch 2, the sequel to its very popular (and very regularly made fun of) first person team-based shooter. And among the NUMEROUS problems it had on day one was that it shut out poor people?! Buckley looks at the anti-cheat mechanism they implemented that stopped people who couldn't afford regular cell phone plans from playing a free game, and offers an alternative for future games!
