Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day! And yes, for those of you who notice these things, this is Dose #399! I still haven't decided what Dose #400 is going to be, if I want to go the “self-indulgent” route, or maybe tackle some broader topic, OR just have it be business as usual. I've got some time to figure it out... next week I'm releasing a Musical Autopsy, and the week after that it's a followup to my “Buckley vs The 10 Most Liked TikTok Videos” as I look at the most FOLLOWED TikTok creators. So the earliest that we'll see Dose #400 is in November. But before we can do that one, we gotta do this one!
Netflix recently released its show “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” to a MASSIVE BACKLASH on The Internet! Which... as we all know... represents actual public opinion, right? Buckley looks at the actual numbers of people who get upset at things on Twitter vs people who actually enjoy things, as well as the popularity of True Crime podcasts, and asks news outlets “why are we still pretending these people's opinions hold any weight?”
