It's Friday and it's time for your early access to this weekend's video! So, I haven't done a Scumbags of the Internet since July of last year, making this the second longest gap between Scumbags! (the last gap was due to that whole hiatus thing) One of the reasons for this is that I'm trying to find people who are actual scumbags now, who've done something wrong to someone, rather than just "hey look this guy Tweets dumb things" or something. I think this video features someone who makes the grade... after all, if stealing $35 million from people doesn't qualify? What would!? Enjoy!
Scumbags of the Internet returns after over a year, with a guy who is charged with defrauding investors out of $35 million! Aiden Pleterski, "The Crypto King", took money from people, told them he would invest it, and that if he lost it... they'd get their money back! Man, if you can't trust a stranger who claims he got rich by investing in made up Internet funbucks, who CAN you trust? Plus... the first ever Mouthbreathers of the Internet?
