Hey everyone, it's bonus Dose day and I'm going half-Buzzfeed on this one... can you BELIEVE it was FIVE WHOLE YEARS AGO that I did a video about Taylor Swift being sued over "Shake it Off"? Well, Taylor thought she was done with that lawsuit, I thought she was done with that lawsuit, but the songwriters had other plans, as they've managed to get a judge to hear a trial over this song later this year. 5 years ago, your ol' pal Buckley talked about Taylor Swift being sued by 3LW for using the phrase "playa's gonna play", while simultaneously trying to get kids on Etsy in trouble for selling mugs with "Shake it Off" written on them. Well, much like a wart you thought you froze off... the songwriters behind 3LW's only hit are BACK, and Taylor's gonna have to face them in a trial by jury.
