It's Bonus Dose Day, and today's video is just in time for Rage Against the Machine to be trending AGAIN, as they just began their tour (the one they were supposed to start in 2020) and a bunch of people found out they're political (can you believe it!?) Anyway, today's video is about why they were trending a couple weeks ago, when a radio station played them over and over. Enjoy a little behind-the-scenes look at the radio industry.
At the end of June, a Canadian radio station made International headlines and trended on Twitter because it played Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" on repeat for an entire day, while a DJ took calls from disgruntled listeners and taunted them by continuing to play the song. The internet told us this was in protest to other DJs being fired. But your ol pal Buckley knows too much about this industry to believe that... here's the ACTUAL story of what happened at a Vancouver radio station in June.
