Happy Friday everyone! It's early access day, and today's video comes right in the middle of Pride month, where so many companies have changed their social media profile pictures to a rainbow version of their logo, and just so conveniently also have rainbow colored merchandise available for you to buy! So I wanted to look at some of the more ridiculous examples this year, and there are some great ones... wait until you get to the NASCAR part of the video. Anyway, enjoy!
For the last several years, more and more companies and organizations have jumped on the Pride month bandwagon in June, changing their logo to some sort of rainbow colored version of itself, and proclaiming how much they support inclusivity. Buckley looks at some of the more absurd examples this year, and asks the community itself: does this make you feel seen? Or does it make you feel more like a mascot to help sell some rainbow colored junk to people who want to feel like they're an “ally”?
