And so, enjoy this weekend's video, a rundown on what's been going on in the music industry as of late with regards to even more ridiculous lawsuits where people are suing other people because their song sounds remotely like another song.
The outcome of the Pharrell & Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" lawsuit meant that everyone who thinks a song vaguely sounds like one of theirs is lawyering up to get some sweet, sweet cash from people who have more than they do! And while a lot of musicians have just decided to settle, give writing credits (and royalties) and be done with it, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, and Dua Lipa aren't going to just lay down and hand over some money just because of coincidence! Buckley looks at how these three artists are essentially saving what little creativity is left in the music industry, and why it's not just about pop music.
