Bonus #89 - Rage Reviews - McDonald's App

VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/xTbf3YUIQFk

It's Bonus Dose Day, and this week I'm back with another Rage Reviews! Much like the social media presence of businesses, I think sometimes companies create apps just for the sake of having an app, like they think they're "supposed to". But often they don't really solve an actual problem any customers have with their product or service. Now, I don't know if any fast food company could make an app that will stop you from getting fat or having explosive diarrhea afterward, but imagine if they could? In the meantime, you'll just have to settle for apps that pretend to give you a slightly more convenient way of ordering (without actually being more convenient) and maybe the odd discount or two. But as you're about to see in this episode of Rage Reviews, that's simply not good enough for some customers. Enjoy!

Rage Reviews returns, with people upset that the McDonald's App isn't a life changing experience. And while Buckley actually agrees that the app isn't very good, he doesn't agree with the reasons of these reviewers. From spite-ordering at other places to being worried about their marriages, see how these customers deal with their disappointment.

tbh, i actually have a use for the app. Chronically disabled and don't leave the house much, can't drive due to my disability. I have people come check in on me 4x a week, and once every few weeks or so I'll want food from someplace else. Usually they don't mind at all stopping by McD's on the way, since there's one right by my place. Used to have to give them my credit card to borrow / paypal them or something, but now I can pay with the app and they can pick it up for me? Oddly specific, I know, but it works edit: im also like, 150 pounds in case people are confused. my disability is not diet or eating related, it's sensory input & psychological

I tried to use the app for free food but...nope. Cannot access any perks.

Safe to say you’re not “loving it”?

Oh I used this app before, can't wait to watch this later.

Huh? But then these options cost the same, no?

Pim

I would like to know this guy's story. What is his wife's deal? "Howard, we are on a date! I won't have you using that damn app! You are going to walk up to the counter and order me a big mac LIKE A GENTLEMAN or I am packing my shit and moving back to Arkansas."

Pim

Unless your some fucking budget master who like dolor menus items and feeding only yourself cooking your own food is always cheaper, . Maybe not mentally cheaper, not more accessible, but literally its always cheaper. On average ill spend about 10$ per person daily with home cooking. But fast food that average is 10$ per person for one meal. Its not rocket science, just very basic math
