EARLY ACCESS: Advice No One Asked For - Number Forty-Two

VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/BJt6BTGzcqw

Time continues its slow, predictable passage, which means another Friday is upon us, which means it's time for your Early Access to the weekend video! Whenever I'm asked what my favorite segment to make is, I always response "Advice No One Asked For". It's one of the first "supplements" I created for my channel, it's something I was doing even before I had a YouTube channel (at lunch in College I'd grab the paper, read an advice column out loud and then make a bunch of comments about it for everyone sitting at the table), and it's the one I think I laugh the most while making as I'm reading these ridiculous questions and then coming up with things to say to them. Anyway, enjoy!

Buckley's back with advice for all ages! First, a young woman is concerned that her teenager sister is having too many... umm... "relationships", then an older woman wants to know why she can't seem to find a man her own age that's interested in her!

The first half of this video is literally an exact situation I'm going through with my sister lmfaooo she's 16 tho. But has been doing that shit since 14.

Yeah it's not really something done in North America, instead it's more traditional to try and stop kids from drinking ever. There is the odd parent who will let a kid taste a beer, which they usually hate of course and is a pretty easy way to deter a kid from wanting to drink excessively (now it's not cool AND it tastes bad) but a lot of the culture around alcohol here involves doing everything in your power to prevent underagers from drinking, and then being shocked when they steal something from the liquor cabinet and go get stupid drunk at a house party.

Huh, I didn't know that alcohol with parents thing was only an European thing. I didn't have an urge to drink as a teenager anyway but my first beer was with my dad when I was ~15. Sadly, he gave me one of his favourites (Żywiec) that I very much dislike 15 years later so it did help stop my non-existent urge to drink alcohol. One thing I didn't understand was that they gave us a massive amount of champagne bottles for New Year's Eve when we were ~13yo, basically every parent in our neighbourhood did that and we were sitting playing games or watching movies, all 13-12yo with about 7 bottles of regular sweet champagne to get at least partially drunk. Early 2000s were the best
