Bonus #57: Rage Reviews - WandaVision

VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/c4YG__RTubo

Oh hey, look, it's an update from Buckley with a mid-week bonus video! My new feature, "Rage Reviews" was very well received, so let's do it again! Now, before you go "Oh, I haven't watched that show, I don't care about Super Hero shows" OR "Oh I'm not caught up on that show, I don't want any spoilers" be assured that this video contains very little in the way of spoilers (no major plot reveals, nothing that the trailers didn't already allude to) and you don't need to like Marvel movies or shows to enjoy a bunch of mouthbreathers leaving poorly spelled one-star reviews for a show they haven't even finished watching! Here's the video description:

Rage Reviews returns! This time, Buckley looks at the IMDB reviews of WandaVision, a 9-episode TV show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that is being released weekly. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't have the patience to wait that long, so they just decided to review the entire series after watching only one or two episodes. Informed opinions? Ain't nobody got time for that!

I can't even keep up with all these shows

Kirk Mackintosh

It's so interesting to see how differently people perceive shows. I honestly loved it, but I also love older shows and the twilight zone. I thought the build up to WV gave a realistic view of what to expect, too. These reviews are like me (a person who does not enjoy watching sports) giving a football game a 1 star review and saying "I'm not interested in this."

I haven’t watched it yet - there so much content out there and so little time. I’ll get around to it when I’m ready, but I need a break from the MCU especially after Endgame. I’m sure when the movies start coming out again I’ll watch the series, but I’m worried I’ll get burned out having to watch all of these series on top of movies. It’s a lot of content to HAVE to watch just to watch the movies you’re interested in

Ash Archer

I mean, you don't _have to_ do anything. If you get tired of keeping up with the MCU, stop. I got tired of keeping up with Star Wars stuff after The Mandalorian S1 so I haven't seen S2 or paid attention to any of the new stuff they've announced. I also haven't watched WandaVision for the same reason: I got burned out on the MCU after Endgame. It's OK to miss out on perfectly good or even great content; there's so much of it these days (especially from Disney), you kind of can't be expected to stay up to date on it all.

Justin O'Conner

From what I hear, it's pretty good. But I'm afraid of it being a gateway to staying subscribed and suddenly "having to" watch a new mcu thing every week forever. Is it good enough to be worth that risk?

Pim

I don't get all the hate. Just because it's not a huge cinematic punch up movie doesn't mean anything. They took a different approach. I actually kind of find it refreshing, the old sitcoms are actually kind of fun to see their spin on them. I mean people knew what this was. Thing is after each episode it just starts getting more intriguing.

TheOriginalGamer79

Liked the first one, it was funny. Will watch this one now.

Feels like these reviews came after only viewing the trailer, because of the many Bewitched references.

Kris Simpson

I really like it, but I’m not a miserable contrarian.
