The Worst Songs of 2020: Update #1

Thought it might be nice to give you guys the progress report before everyone else. So for those of you who haven't heard, I AM doing The Worst Songs of 2020 this year. I started the process yesterday (spent a good chunk writing yesterday, then recorded and edited audio today), and as of today, December 1st at 2:30pm ET I have the audio completed. I haven't logged my time to the minute on this (it's not a video game!) but I believe I've put about 12 hours into it. What's that amount to? 31 minutes and 17 seconds of audio. That's right, this will be my longest Worst Songs list of all time, topping the Worst Songs of 2014 by a full minute. It features me making fun of 12 songs and 4 "honorable mentions" (so much for just 10!) in a hybrid style of the 2019 video (the "Awards Show") and the 2010-2018 countdowns.
If you have any questions, feel free to comment below and I'll try and answer them (questions about the process, not what's on it... I'm not spoiling the surprise). OR feel free to try and predict what will be on it. "In these uncertain times" will the list be as chaotic, OR will it be the one thing you can actually predict this year?
And for those of you who might be thinking "hey, doesn't Buckley normally give us Patreon subscribers a bonus video on Tuesdays?", I'll be uploading that for you tomorrow. It's an all-new feature called "Rage Reviews", where I make fun of people's 1 star reviews on apps and products.

"Oh I can't buy a $600 video game console right away" aww muffin... yeah the scalpers suck, and yeah in a normal year maybe they could have done something physical, and going all-online made it really easy for the scalpers to grab up tons of them. But complaining you can't buy an expensive toy, especially right now, makes you look like a bit of an asshole.

2020-12-02 03:12:17 +0000 UTCActually I usually forget to eat/drink during it, or don't want to because it takes time away from working (either getting food, eating it, or having to go to the bathroom if I drink too much water). And while recording I can't eat, or drink anything but water. For big projects like this I like to just go head down and work for 8 hours at a time.

You're the only person I support on Patreon, and the second you said if you had enough subs you would come back I signed up and haven't looked back. I remember that back in 2017, the first time I'd even heard of Noah Cyrus's music career was Buckley's list of worst songs! What other untold atrocities will I encounter this year? Only one way to find out! (On another note, looks like TikTok made 2018's worst song popular again for a brief moment -- I wouldn't have known what it was if it hadn't been for Buckley!)
