satoko higurashi is greatest character of all time and ryukishi had the ultimate galaxy brain in conceptualizing her utter control of the narrative. chef's kiss. (apparently some of the production stuff was due to it being made primarily during covid, so ... having a ton of reused animation for instance is pretty heavily rooted in. production woes. which is unfortunate because god i love to see satoko. ryukishi giving me what i never knew i wanted as a teenager)
2023-05-25 03:11:51 +0000 UTCDid you know that ryukishi put out like an alternate ending/route for Sotsu as a short light novel that was released for free? The translation is floating around, it's not very long, but the premise is literally Ryukishi staring at the camera and stating "The problem wasn't studying". Because its LITERALLY her studying (as SPITE) and what would follow from there anda deeper look at the problems she had. It's fun! Highly recommend.
