Re: the colourpop controversy - they did announce it on Instagram actually, which is moreso their main platform, and the backlash was BRUTAL. Go peek some of their posts - there’s a lot of comments along the lines of “why are y’all doing this now with JK being such a bigotted asshole as she is”.
