Episode 169: A Bird in the Hand...?

This week features Bella storming off to her room to listen to Linkin Park (really!), getting so mad at Mansfield Park she slams her book shut, and Edward using vampire telepathy to read peoples' horny thoughts--and that's the easy stuff. There's also a pair of new evil vampires that Edward is worried might attack Bella, but not that worried? Oh, and we learn, through a throwaway line, that there are Vampire Wars. All this and more on a jam-packed Shrieking Shack... I'm starting to worry that Edward might not make up his boyfriend points anytime soon.

2022-05-23 18:47:45 +0000 UTCI’m gonna do what Chaz here did and write out a few things I remember from the Maximum Ride novels that you might enjoy: -The characters have these tattoos that are like their “expiration date” or the in-built time when they’re supposed to die and they show up a little bit before that IIRC so there’s all this drama about whose date is coming up and how they end up avoiding it -The lab they came from is called “The School” -The children are being hunted by genetically engineered werewolf guys from the School called “Erasers” -They are eventually joined by a small dog who also has wings but additionally can talk for some reason. His name is Total. He doesn’t initially talk or have wings but he suddenly develops the ability to talk and finally grows wings after like four-ish books of just being a talking dog who keeps hinting at the fact he might grow wings. -One of the characters is called “The Gasman” or “Gazzy”, and he is called that because he farts a lot.
