This week's chapter is a fan favorite, full of emotional moments and inspiring quotes about death that you've probably seen on coffee mugs, forum signatures, and tattoos for over a decade. Does it hold up, though? Not in the slightest, but it is accidentally fascinating and full of conflicting ideas and also there's a bit where Hagrid is tied to a tree for some reason. If you don't have a sugar stomachache after hearing us read saccharine descriptions of Harry's brave march to his death, stick around for the third segment where we take some reddit burning questions and spin a few theories of our own. In universe, though, I suppose, being generous, it could be that the death eaters were still busy re-organizing the government. Of course, then again, Voldemort shouldn't need a bunch of cronies backing him up to threaten a wedding.

2021-02-17 20:10:34 +0000 UTCThis goes without saying but WHY did Voldemort not just grab at everyone at the Weasley wedding way back around page 50 and do the whole "turn yourself in Harry" evil guy thing? He literally runs the magical world by that point, no one could stop him.
