Ok This chapter made me super upset, I knew I was going to hate it but man it fucking sucks, I hate the "Born evil" trope and the idea that if a kid is "out of control." it must mean they're bad. For one "Born evil." is so damaging to neruodivergent people like me because it assumes that if a kid does not act like "Normal" kids they must be evil, and the "Out of control=bad" Is so awful because parents are expected to have a frightening level of control over kids and kids not absolutely doing what their parents or what an authority says is grounds for punishment sucks in so many ways not to mention that autisitc ADHD kids like I was are seen as trouble makers because they inherently can't act in a "Normal" way and have to do things in different ways.

2021-03-01 00:41:00 +0000 UTCOH RIGHT i forgot to mention this before but: the harry potter studio tour is actually just OUTSIDE london! it's, like, surrounded by a giant fucking field so if they WANTED to add rides they theoretically could... putting aside that, you know, it's 1) a studio tour and 2) still a functioning movie studio that rides would probably disrupt source: i live like 10 minutes from it
