personally i loved how self-congratulatory he was about not deleting the cock-is-my-favorite-taste edit because it proved he wasn't homophobic or whatever
2021-02-07 11:50:31 +0000 UTCsuper late to this but man, when John Green was on tumblr it was a wild time. he made a super self-congratulatory post about the kissing scene in the Anne Frank house (that was locked relentlessly) and also sicced a ton of hugely popular YA authors (and their fans) on a minor when said minor made a post talking about how John Green kinda creeped them out because he's a grown man intentionally cultivating a fanbase of young teenagers
