Moving forward

As many of you are aware. I have suspended my work with YandereDev until further notice following the recent allegations against him, of which I cannot condone.

I did, however, agree to re-sign if the game was handed off to a company/other developer or if YandereDev miraculously redeems his actions

This was not by any means an easy decision to make as, like many of you know, YandereDev and I became very close friends, and not to mention how much the project meant to me.

This, however, doesn't mean I have no more tracks to finish.

Allow me to explain

Earlier this year, I re-signed my contract to work on the game, unlike some contracts (which are time-based) mine was commission-based. I agreed to complete specific tracks, X amount of sound effects, and X amount of requests for an agreed compensation per track. Obviously, when I signed this contract, I DID NOT foresee this outcome, so I didn't worry about an exit clause. "This is my friend, we're just doing this as a formality, I got nothing to worry about, why wouldn't I complete these"...

This means I do have to finish my current obligations, (most of which are already near completion or in the works, not to mention the unreleased and scrapped music I still have)

The good news is, well there are still some cool Yandere Simulator tracks for you guys to hear soon!

The bad news is... I will probably receive backlash because of a contract I cannot terminate.

Since you all are my patrons I will list the tracks that will be upcoming. (and these are potentially my last tracks for Yandere Simulator unless it's handed off to someone else [can you tell I really hope that happens because I love you guys and want the project to succeed])

Agreed to tracks/sound design

The additional agreed-to tracks

15 Agreed to sound effects

This doesn't account for all of the scrapped tracks I still have unreleased and the tracks currently on hold, I have plans to release them eventually, I just don't want to capitalize on a rough situation

YanDev has announced his break today, which I truly hope he gets help. I don't think he's evil, but I do think he really needs help and I'm glad he's taken that advice to heart.

Let me know in the comments what you think. I really don't have much of an option on if I complete these tracks or not, I agreed to it and have already invested a lot of love, care, emotion, and time into the tracks I've begun. Not to mention the fact that I have already been partially compensated to begin my work when the contract was signed.

A big part of me hopes I can one day return to the project if things change. I do still have a lot of love for it, and those who've supported me because of it.
