Late June Update!

Guess whose birthday it was! Two weeks ago! Yeah, I didn't really make a big deal of it. I never do honestly. I consider birthday celebrations to be the same whether its a month before or after it, it's way more important for me that people show up to celebrate when they have the time and energy to do so rather than all clambering in on one specific day. I'd celebrate my birthday in December if that was easier for everyone. I had a very nice, saw some family, ate some pizza. Good times!

Since then...ehh, I'll admit that I've been feeling a little blue lately. Down in the dumps, going through the motions. I think a lot of us are really, though. Life is really grinding people down, and it feels like working in a NSFW industry gets more treacherous by the day. I'm actually kind of lucky that I work in writing more than art or games, since they get targetted by right wing cranks looking to fuck things up for everyone more often. Everyone is worried about shit going on in the world, saving up money, working up the energy to get shit that needs doing done. Same for me. It happens, and this month has hit me pretty heavy.

But that don't mean I'm not rolling out of bed every day and doing something. A bit of writing here, a bit of work on the house there, a bit of coffee shop visiting to lighten the day. Even if I'm not doing as much as I want to be doing every day, I'm doing something and sometimes that's all you can do. You all remember that too, yeah? Just do what you can, day by day and step by step. Sometimes it's all you can and it's always good enough.
