Potential title change for Tyrants of Earth.
Added 2025-09-22 14:43:29 +0000 UTCSo, a well respected (10k followers) author has all but yelled at me to change my title. I bet after all this time you're attached to the name Tyrants of Earth as I am. The unfortunate bit is that the title implies grimdark which ToE is not.
It may be what is driving away a lot of readers before they even click.
There is no promise here that I'll change anything based on these polls. A big part of me wants to keep the title and damn the marketability, and I might just do so.
However if there is a fitting title or there is overwhelming support for a title I'll go for it.
As such, please hit me with some recommendations. It doesn't have to be Artigan, it doesn't have to be about Tyrants, just something that encapsulates the madness of Ryan's story.

I have never ONCE picked a book based on its title. And I’ve been a voracious reader for two decades. I started your book because I thought the description was fun and I haven’t been disappointed. So a “bigger” author didn’t care for your title. He or she, I’m sure, is someone who knows THEIR stuff. No one but you knows YOUR stuff. Please don’t change the title. I understood the reference in the title almost immediately once a few chapters had been read. You’re story is great and I cannot wait for more.

Only suggestion is in the very first line where you mention the Realmnet, play it up a bit more. The tasty blend of modern tech and social media with fantasy epic is your unique selling point.

"Tyrants of Earth" stands out, it hints at your frankly excellent worldbuilding, the others sound like every generic isekai trash ever written. Another commenter suggested "Art of rebellion", honestly that sounds a lot cooler, if you have to change the title then I second this option. Also, more than the title, it's the summary that sells a story on sites like Royal Road, at least it does for me. Lemme go check what you currently have and let you know what I think.
