Alyssa
Added 2024-07-24 01:47:17 +0000 UTCSo, I've been sitting on this idea for a character for a while, and I went ahead and designed her. This is Alyssa, a new addition to the Fighter Verse who's meant to be Iris' disciple. She was a normal 18 to 20-year-old college student, but then one day, she happened to witness Iris fighting in her hometown. Inspired by what she saw, she started trying to get Iris to train her personally. At first, Iris had no interest in taking on a student, but Alyssa's determination impressed her, and overtime, Alyssa's been growing on her. She's still got a lot to learn, but she's got the spirit to see it through.

The idea I had in mind was that it was a sorta one-sided rivalry. Due to her mentor being rivals with Nicole's mother, Alyssa sees Nicole as a rival to beat in order to prove herself to her mentor. Nicole is aware of this, but doesn't have any personal beef with Alyssa, seeing her as more of a friendly rival than anything else.
