WIP Spiral and Hourglass Suits

Thanks everyone for the feedback on the rough draft spiral and hourglass suits.

I wanted to show off some more in progress cards:

First up the playing cards item for the spiral court cards.

Trying to balance the level of detail on the cards within the cards is a bit tricky, but I think I've struck a nice balance with these. I'm still trying to figure out a good idea for how the jack should be holding/interacting with cards. Given the abstract nature of the art design showing something like shuffling would be tough, but if you have ideas, let me know.

Next up are updated alpha/omega images. I'm trying to differentiate the two cards visually while  making to make it look like they are connected. Let me know if you think the cards below achieve that, or if I should try a totally new direction. Note: the alpha card has changed, the omega is the same as what was shown previously.

Lastly I wanted to show off some more work in progress images of the hourglass suit:

This one is a bit more refined from what I showed off previously and has a bit more details:

Here are two of the court cards. The second edition hourglass suit only had one court card: death. For the Third edition I was going to create a jack, queen, king, and tower card such that the suit could be used alongside the other suits of the Singularity Deck.

Both of these still need a bunch of work:

For the queen, I'm thinking something inspired by the Fates in greek mythology, but I'd love to hear if you have any ideas.

Thanks for the great ideas!

Hello, some "5cents thoughts", if I may... ① the balance for the details for "cards within the card" in the 'spiral suit' is just perfect to me. It is obvious those items are 'playing cards' while being simplified as the styler is willing. Only limitation: the verso of your cards is then frozen. ② about Alpha and Omega cards: what about having only 2 rows of colours: one is only white and give the movement, other is "yellow shading to blue". The way they are shading is like "alpha is shading away from the center (emerging)" and "Omega is shading into the center (collapsing)" ③ hourglasses suit: 2 ideas, mutualy exclusive... either, as you suggested, you could take the 3 fates ( Clothos, Lachesis, Athropos) as being JQK (or KQJ... but I do not want to open philosophical debates here ☺) either you could keep you Jack as it is; keep your King as beeing the Queen (is the Death masculine or feminine? In French is must be feminine "LA mort".), and find something else as a king... Why not a squeleton? [This could make a lot of sense: Jack = sentenced to death (as we are all); Queen = the Death itself (herself ?) ; King = fate of our body after the death.] ④ about the comment from "V": maybe the suggestion in ② could do the trick. PS: sorry for bad wording/spelling, I'm not native english speaker.

The new designs for the alpha/omega cards are good because now I can tell them apart quickly, but they don't necessarily feel like "connected" ends of a wormhole. I think what'd help the best with making them seem connected is to have some sort of object(s) to give a sense of perspective; something in front of the wormhole on alpha and at the far end of the wormhole on omega, perhaps?
