June Project Poll
Added 2022-06-01 15:01:04 +0000 UTCHello to all you wonderful people,
After a bit of a break I wanted to run through some of the things I'm currently working on and put up a poll to help guide where future effort should be spent. Below you'll find some more thorough descriptions of the projects listed in the poll. If you have any questions about anything, please let me know.
The current work in progress projects:
Cosmos Piecepack Second Edition: I received the cosmos piecepack set from the Game Crafter. I'm taking some photos and working on getting those purchasable on the Game Crafter.
3D printed Magnetic Hex Board: At the end of of April, I teased an updated version of the 3D printable Hex Magnetic Hex Board. I'll have more to share this month.
Singularity Deck Third edition: I'm still working on getting all of the images and descriptions put together before the deck can officially go live on Drive Thru Cards.
Beyond those, I have a bunch of ideas and half finished projects, which is why I wanted to put up a poll to help guide me to focus on what folks are most interested in. Below you will find project descriptions to go along with the items in the poll. Let me know which projects you're most excited about!
Singularity Piecepack Third Edition: An updated version of the Singularity Piecepack with the suit icons and aesthetic of the Singularity Deck 3rd edition. Including Layout and art asset files for print and play customizable versions. Would likely take a couple of months.
Singularity Box Grid and Label Lids: Complete set of lids for the Singularity Boxes with the grid pattern, and recessed label insert. So far I’ve only made these styles of lids for the small and double-deck sized boxes. Would likely be done within the month.
Singularity Deck Third Edition Hourglass/Spacetime Suit: An updated version of the 100-card hourglass suit to match the other suits in the third edition of the deck. Estimate 3-4 months.
Singularity Deck Third Edition Spiral Suit: An updated version of the Spiral suit to match the other suits in the third edition of the deck. Would take 1-2 months.
Singularity Deck Print and Play Tuck Boxes: For the time being Drive Thru Cards limits how their printed tuck boxes can be bundled with cards in a way that means it can’t be included with printed copies of the Singularity Deck. That said, I do have some design ideas for a tuck box that could be printed at home. Within a month.
3D Printed Singularity Box Lid custom designed for the Singularity Deck: A Singularity Box Lid with a special design for storing the Singularity Deck. Could be completed within a month.
Print on Demand versions of the Chess Cards: The chess cards idea with a few refinements, 4 suits, and available thru Drive Thru Cards. Would take a month to complete.
More Multideck Maker Assets: More suits, items, and court cards to use when designing custom decks. The more time and focus, the more art assets.
Finalize the Multideck Maker Advanced Layout: A layout design that offers greater customization for your custom cards, including things like having multiple suits per cards. Layouts could be completed within a month. The tutorial and supporting info would take 1-2 months.
Chipboard 4-fold print of the Ultimate Gipf Board: A “classic” game board, 4-fold version of the Ultimate Gipf Board printed through The Game Crafter. Would take within a month to finish.
