Hi all,
I've updated and expanded the tutorials for Multideck Maker, including a walkthrough of how to export cards for print-on-demand services such as Drive Thru Cards and how to create print and play PDFs.
Full tutorial: https://www.singularity.games/p/multideck-maker-custom-card-tutorial.html
On the main Multideck Maker page you will find links to detailed descriptions of the different layouts: https://www.singularity.games/p/multideck-maker.html
The finalized layouts come in 3 versions:
Basic Layout: This is a simplified layout that makes it easier to modify basic features of the cards. For 90% of people this will cover everything they would want to customize, including suit color, court card art, card rank, etc.
Grid Layout: This is a specialized version of the Basic Layout that lets folks create cards for games like the Duke and Onitama. I'm about to post a separate update on this, so more to follow.
Advanced Layout: This one is still a work in progress, but it will allow for full customization of card features. This customization comes at the cost of the Link Spreadsheet being a bit unwieldy and intimidating to work with. For example, the Basic Layout assumes 1 suit for the whole card, the Advanced Layout however makes each corner customizable so the card could have 4 suits and 4 separate ranks, if desired.
The original layouts I first posted are still on the drive in case anyone needs them, but they are in a legacy folder.
