Pausing the Patreon for April
Added 2020-03-21 02:27:16 +0000 UTCHi All,
I hope everyone is well and staying healthy. The purpose of this post is two-fold: 1. Give everyone an outline of the current projects I have in the works; 2. Let you know I’m going to pause billing for next month. You don’t need to do anything: this just means you will not be charged for the month of April.
Responding to changes at life and work as a result of COVID-19 has eaten up a large amount of my free time and I’m anticipating next month will be the same. I’m based in Seattle – and although I’m still healthy and safe – life is just a bit more turbulent.
That said, I’m happy to share a few updates:
I’ve uploaded the PDF print and play file of the spacetime suit to the drive.
Looking towards the future:
Based on some suggestions I’ve received I’m looking at reconfiguring the spacetime suit to make it more useful and versatile. I’m planning on modifying the cards to include the major arcana for tarot games. I’m also looking at adding "roles" for games like Werewolf. My WIP worksheet is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18W21Lpq8JTGnwwQ1vc7PdQy8WfB0FEEPrcUtsaAIG_k
I’m modifying the Ultimate Gipf board for printing on neoprene through inkedgaming.com.
I’m playtesting and taking feedback on the Singularity Piecepack set and prepping the files for printing on the game crafter.
In light of the new Looney Pyramid kickstarter, I'm planning on making a storage system that works with the singularity boxes. I designed the Singularity Deck to complement the colors of the Looney Pyramids.
The Singularity Deck, Looney Pyramids, and the Piecepack together in a collection represent nearly limitless gaming possibilities as they complement each other really well. With just those 3 systems you would be pretty close to the ultimate gaming apocalypse box.
After that, I'm going to ask for feedback on some changes I have in mind for the 3rd edition of the Singularity Deck, including revisiting the artwork for consistency, new suit ideas (thanks to Eric Coutu and Joe Sterling for the suggestions), and some other miscellaneous refinements.
Thanks as always and everyone stay safe,
Matthew

I didn't realize that you'd designed the deck to complement the piecepack and Looney Pyramids! That's awesome. Especially since I have a Pyramid Arcade set and am in the process of making my own piecepack. 😁
