Due to an incident Eons ago, every moon was cursed with an eternally growing evil darkness inside every core. It cannot be completely destroyed or dispelled.
Lunlepians (people who reside on the moon) have begun a practice where every year, powerfully spiritual Lunlepians with strong Luna Aura would go down to their moon's core to re-seal the darkness so it won't escape.
If they fail to seal the darkness, the whole moon will be swallowed by it, making it a place where malevolent void demons continuously grow and cause havoc to the universe.
