Sorry! just one more post for the day I swear haha. Just wanted to get this off the mind quickly

Moon Maidens are Lunlepian (moon bunny people) women who specialise in sealing the prisoned darkness down in the core of their moon.

Every year, the several maidens are called down to their moon's core to re-seal the darkness. So far, this method has caused no problems and have successfully sealed the darkness away for many Eons (Until...)

A festival is held during this time. Since it is a very reliable and trustworthy practice nothing can go wrong (right?) So the Lunlepians use this day to celebrate another year of peace.

Special make-up and clothing is required for this ceremony to boost the strength of their Luna Aura.

(can't seal the darkness without looking a little cunty....)

I thought this could be a side job that Dione has alongside being a Space Ranger Nurse. She born from a line of Moon Maidens so she was naturally born with high Luna Aura. Although she wished she didn't have to do this every year... and although she isn't alone during the ceremony, she still feels the fate and weight of her people and the moon in her hands.
