Easier access to all content! (Coming this week)

Sit tight everybun, I know I haven't sent out the DropBox Archive link yet but there's a good reason why.

I wrote an update post a few weeks ago that I was working on uploading all my content to itch.io. Well, it is done! I've backed up all of 2024 on the site, plus everything I had on my Gumroad. Itch.io has a neat feature, where Patrons can log in using their accounts and download any itch.io package I've set to accessible for Patrons.

I'll make another guide on how this works soon (like this one), but just know you won't be struggling with DropBox links being jammed anymore. (Here's a quick explanation from itch.io on how it works). You'll have the entire archive at your disposal, and can pick & choose what you'd like to download yourself.

I've not uploaded the earlier half of 2022 yet, but everything prior and up until mid-2024 is directly available on my Patreon page. So if you can't find something on my itch.io, you can look through my Collections! Speaking of, all Patreon-Packs will be readily sorted & accessible through the Archive Collection. This collection will be the main hub to unlock & download packages.

What's left, and what's coming:

1. Uploading all remaining 2023 & 2024's Patreon-Pack thumbnails onto Patreon to add into the Archive Collection.
2. Adding itch.io Patreon-access download links in all the uploaded Patreon-Pack posts within the Archive Collection.
3. Create a guide on how to download the packages for free as a Patron from itch.io's website.
4. Slowly upload the older packages from 2021 - 2022 onto Itch.io

Additionally, here are some changes I will be adding to my Patreon going into 2025:

1. Rewards will mainly release via itch.io from now on. When I create a new project/reward, Patrons will gain access to a private draft on itch.io. As rewards are completed you can download new updates. WIPs of future rewards will be directly posted to my Patreon, as well as previews of the finished works. Not too different from how I'm currently using DropBox, just swap it out with itch.io instead.

2. New pledgers will have access to the archive from 2021 - 2024 immediately upon pledging. However, rewards that are released within 2025 & onward, will only be available for Patrons that are actively pledged within the same month the rewards release. They will be uploaded on my itch.io for public purchase later on, but with a higher price than a month or two of a Patreon membership.

3. I'd love to start creating packages with multiple illustrations centered around a theme or following a storyline (These can be voted on via a Patreon poll). However, creating multiple illustrations usually take longer than a month compared to a single monthly illustration. But don't worry, even if your membership expires before the package is complete; Patrons who've downloaded the private draft have access to any new updates for free, (you're notified by itch.io via email when there's an update to a package you've downloaded before). Though this applies only to the packages created & downloaded during the duration of your pledge. I feel this is a fair solution to rewards that take a longer time to complete.

4. New packages will eventually trickle down to the archive. I'm thinking after a year of a package's official release, it will join the archive for people to access. That way it stays updated, and can be another incentive for people to join ^^

5. If given the time, I could make a single, simple sketch or otherwise as monthly rewards ONLY accessible via Patreon, and not uploaded onto itch.io later. It could be nice, since full packages can take 2-3 months to complete. Though I don't want to overwork myself, so it's not for certain.

6. Art Request Livestreams for the $10 tier once a month. In these livestreams, you can request anything you'd like me to draw. Be that your OC, my OC's, characters from media, a chair if you so desire, pets, etc. These Livestreams will be hosted on Picarto, and I will post an exclusive link when the stream is active. (*NB: You need a picarto account to participate in the chat). I'll post a poll each month that asks when the best date is to host the livestream.

Thank you all so much for the support, despite all the changes I've made to my Patreon during 2024. Balance is a difficult thing to strike, but I feel confident about implementing these changes. Once Patreon rolls out the storefront feature for +18 creators too, I might incorporate it as well for a smoother experience. That is all for now, I hope you are all just as excited as I am!!!
