Devil's Dragons (DnD Campaign): Headshots
Added 2024-02-12 19:03:11 +0000 UTCSome headshots I did for two of our players in the campaign I'm in with the homies! The first is of Daeva, our tanky paladin. The second is of our very clever, rogue-ish bard, Ura.
The dialogue in each has been something the character's actually said in the campaign at least once. Daeva has never experienced a birthday party due to her upbringing thus has no real idea of what one is. Ura on the other hand, is an adult kobold, but is often mistaken as a child dragonborn. She has used that to her advantage more than once, but it isn't something she particularly likes.
These served as a fun lil texture experiment too! I personally really enjoy hand-painting my textures instead of using a preset brush for them, so I wanted to see how much I could play with said texture of the scales and, in Daeva's case, her armor. The more I paint the more I lean into a more abstract/impressionistic-esque feel, moreso worried about the shapes and final feel than how accurate the detail is.
I had a blast with these! Ya'll can thank Kyrit for prompting me to draw these; I have a strong inkling to do the same with the rest of the party and maybe some NPCs. We'll see! owo Until then, I hope ya'll enjoy the art; more to come soon! uwu
