Devil's Dragons (DnD Campaign): I'M A DOCTOR

For context:
After a harrowing battle with a swarm of rats (I'll tell ya'll later), a high speed goose chase for a runaway cart, and lots of snooping, the gang found themselves inside a quaint bakery in the Upper City of Baldur's Gate during our investigations. There were rumors about something fishy goin' on with it; townspeople were gossiping about how the food was making people very ill, so we decided to check it out.
We tried to pretend we were food inspectors but the owner called us out on it, but still agreed to allow us a look around because she was as clueless about what was happening as we were. SO, off to investigate we did!
At some point, Ishmael (the character I play) literally follows his nose to a potential source of the illness: a foul-smelling bag of flour. He opens it up and picks a clump up, at which point our druid Valor basically insists on him tasting it; ya know, just to make sure it's safe and all, smell be damned.
Ishmael almost does so to, before he has an epiphany and remembers "I'm a fucking doctor????" So, he medicine checks the bag and his experience as a soldier and mercenary basically saved him from a bad time: The flour has been poisoned.
Following that discovery and informing the owner, we managed to track down the culprit and put an end to that little mystery. In return we got a basket full of delicious baked goods and the promise that we had somewhere safe to shelter should we ever need it while up in the Upper City. :)

I'll be aiming on doing more lil comics/sketches to recap the goings ons in our campaign! It'll work both as a refresher for myself on the story so far as well as actually telling ya'll what goes down in the campaign, because my god does shit really go down man. ;w;
