Raya and the Last Dragon AU (sneak peek)

Soooooooooooo if ya'll have been in the Patreon discord you'll know what this is for, but just in case ya need a reminder: one of the goals I had for this Patreon was to begin work on a relatively big story project based on the input of you guys! After I pitched an AU for Raya and the Last Dragon, that one is what was ultimately chosen, and since then I've been kinda agonizing over how to go about actually telling the story. So far I've actually written a few chapters, but I floundered on how to tell the story visually.

A couple of weeks ago I made myself sit down and make a list of the stories I wanna prioritize and wrote down how I'd go about telling them, and because of that I think I finally found a way to do so without (or at least trying not to) worry over how not everything is like. Perfect. Better to tell the story with its flaws than not to tell it at all ;w;

SO! My blabbing aside, the idea behind the AU is a "what if Namaari never shoots Sisu", and exploring how the movie's ending would go instead. As a sidenote, tentative title for the AU: From the Ashes.

I'ma pull a page out of my commissions process book and sketch/thumbnail the whole thing out first before I go about cleanup and color, so you may not see much in terms of pretty art for this AU yet outside of concept art and some of the written portions! We'll see how this goes! :U
