Bowser Doodle

Have yourselves a friendly Bowser! I'm tweaking the AU in a few places to make it a little more character-focused and slice-of-life in terms of story, so that includes playing around with how I draw the characters. The Koopas in particular.
I tried to avoid them wearing clothes thanks to their shells but I finally said "fuck it", so they'll likely be drawn with clothes from here on out, if only cuz it's actually fun. xD How are they wearing them? probably button-ups that fit around their shells is my best explanation. Worst case: magic! :D
