I finished this a little bit before I had to take the bench and kinda forgot that I did, so here it is in all it's glory! :)

I didn't realize it at first but this could be a companion piece to the one I did for Sakura, so I guess that means I should try doing one for Evangeline and Kaela too!

At any rate! Have Mal spending some quality time with some feathered friends!

Mal, as a Spirit, has the unique ability to communicate with animals. The levels of which she can do it depends on each species, but the animals she's most connected with is birds, and as such she has the easiest time with them. It isn't quite like they actually speak to her, but she does know what they're communicating to her, and they in turn regardless of if she speaks regularly or in a series of coos or sharp whistling.

When Mal first began living in the human realm she was always mildly uncomfortable and often left to hang out in the tall tall trees and simply talk to the birds, something she always used to do before she was... evicted, from her own realm. The birds always have juicy tales of the strange world she's found herself in, though to her surprise they reaffirm what a little black cat told her about her new human roommate. B)
