Booette and Big Bertha concept art

The big unveiling (sort of)! After I mentioned King Boo had a successor a lot of folk, specifically on tumblr, made a shit ton of guesses and I'm very surprised no one actually guessed right, even when I sort-of gave the answer ages ago.

So, here's the answer right here: Booette is King Boo's daughter and future successor to his legacy as the grim reaper in this AU!

Since I'm still in the concept stage I haven't fully figured out everything about her yet, but the main key notes I used for her design is:

-"princely", likes wearing masculine clothing. Tends to be mistaken for a boy, but she doesn't mind

-TINY BAB

-Very shy; so much so she keeps her eyes hidden at all times. Only her father knows the color of her eyes

-Quiet, raspy voice, sounds as if she rarely talks. Speaks with a stutter

-Absolute fan of space and the stars; if she wasn't the future guardian of ghosts she'd be an astronomer

The other character that will be added into the roster is Big Bertha! Bertha is a character from the SMB movie, the super old and super bad one, but I liked her character enough to include her in some way. Like Booette I don't have much on her yet since she's still in concept, but so far the notes I have are:

-BICC, STRONK, THICC WAMAN. Redesigned her base costume and hair for a more updated look

-Possibly a bar owner; acts as her own bouncer. Yet to decide if she operates in WarioLand or owns a bar somewhere in Metro Kingdom

-Pauline and her are good friends; possibly knew each other as children
