My Little... Ponies? (Concept)

I debated back and forth on whether or not to post this but, meh! Why not! owo

After god knows how long, a sudden urge to play around with an MLP concept came to my head and I took to my discord to brainstorm with the squad. It's evolving into possibly a fullfledged AU, where the basic premise is that it's a complete retelling of the very first premiere.

I got the idea when I remembered the concept art of G5, where the first concept was to reboot the show again with the Mane 6 still being the front characters (albeit with a change in their breeds) before that idea was scrapped and we got what we have today. I have no interest in G5, but I don't think I'd mind dabbling in another FiM AU. We'll see how far it goes!

For now, this is the lineup of the designs for the possible AU. Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are Kirin (the "pegasi"). Fluttershy and Rarity are Deerkin (the "unicorns"). Twilight Sparkle and Applejack are Equine (the "earth ponies").

Some quick tidbits for those curious about what the AU is so far:

-Complete retelling of the premiere episodes of MLP:FiM. A lot of what happened in the show doesn't happen here, including the lack of Nightmare Moon.

- Unicorns, Pegasi, and Earth ponies don't exist in this AU. Instead there's 4 "civil" species who make the bulk of the societies that inhabit the land, which are: The Deerkin, the Kirin, the Equine, and the Centaurs. Other creatures do exist from the show but they will more or less be featured as feral animals with a few exceptions

-As of right now the Elements of Harmony does not exist in this AU. i'd like to give the idea that ordinary characters answer the call to adventure and not so much a bunch of pre-destined characters.
