Koopa relatives (sketch)

A couple of quick sketches I did a little while ago of Bowser's wife and Bowser's brother.

It took me so long to upload the wife because I had no idea what to name her, but I finally have a name for the ever so requested reveal of Bowser's late wife:

Chai Koopa!

Like the tea she's named after, Chai is calm, gentle, and intelligent. She and Bowser were childhood friends but were separated when she moved away, and only in adulthood did they reunite and spark a romance. She loved Bowser dearly and was his best friend, but sadly passed before she got the chance to be a mother to Jr.

Despite Jr looking almost every bit like his father (outside of his lighter colors), he gets his light brown eyes from his mother. :) Jr. may not know her and while he finds a mother in Peach, he still does wish he got to know his birth mom. He keeps his hair back in a ponytail a lot like she did. ;w;

As for Bruiser Koopa, he is Bowser and Bowsette's older half-brother! He was the product of a wild night between his Troopa mother and the king and queen of Koopa Kingdom at the time. His mother moved to a tiny rice village on the very outskirts of the kingdom, where he was raised in a loving household. He never really questioned why he was more than 10 times larger than the other Troopas, nor did the village really pay his size any mind. He's well loved in the village and he loves them back!

Despite his name and size, Bruiser is a complete softy and wouldn't even hurt a fly; he hates conflict and would rather talk things out than fight.

He has absolutely no idea who his birth father was; mom never mentioned and he never asked. As such, he also has no idea he has a brother or a sister, or the fact that he is royalty. owo
