Patreon Overhaul starting!
Added 2021-08-01 10:41:59 +0000 UTCThank you all so much for helping me with figuring out how to overhaul my patreon! :) With most if not all of the components to my patreon figured out, I think I'd like to begin making the changes to the patreon little by little as time goes on!
This will generally mean that all of the tiers will be revamped into what's shown HERE, the goals will be changed into milestones I'm more engaged with, and the Patreon's appearance will receive an update. This also means Merch Rewards will soon be disabled. I won't disable them until after the last rewards of this month goes out, so that means it'll be within the next 2 weeks for the merch to be deactivated.
As far a the Tiers go, everything except the art rewards will become active! This means early access to completed content from here on will be regulated to the $5 tier, Discord access will be granted within the week, so on! I won't be adding the more expensive tiers yet since I don't want anyone subscribing to them yet until I can fully focus on delivering the art rewards, so the changes for now will only be made to the existing tiers.
When all of the new tiers goes live, including the art rewards, I'll make another announcement, but that won't be for a while yet so keep your eyes open!

2021-08-01 18:05:27 +0000 UTCFigured I'd give you a heads up as it seems to catch a lot of people off gaurd. When you add discord access to a patreon tier it will automatically add everyone who has their discord linked to the discord server. So when you do that get ready for a lot of new people all at once! (Some will probably be confused how they got invited as well)

Meaning those who have a new discount to their tier can choose between the new percent one or keep the flat priced one from before In your case, since the tier no longer has a discount you still can use the one it had previously since you're grandfathered in o3o

My commission will be done this month but now my current tier doesnt get a discount anymore. Please note that I dont mind too much but Id just like some clarity (:

Patron increases their annual membership (joins a higher tier) If a patron increases their annual membership, a pro-rated credit from their initial charge will be applied to the new amount and they’ll be charged the difference between the two tiers. Examples: A patron paid for your $120 tier and upgrades in the same month to your $140 tier, they are immediately charged $20 for the difference between the two. A patron paid $120 in April and upgrades in June to your $140 tier, only $110 from their initial pledge is left and would make their charge to upgrade $30. In both of the above examples, when their membership automatically renews in a year, they’ll be charged their new membership amount of $140, in full. Patron decreasing their annual membership (wants to switch to a lower tier) At the moment, patrons will not be able to lower their annual membership.
